Hey guys! This chapter is really short, but that's just because it's the premise. The others are definitely not going to be this short. They will start shorter, though not as short as this, and get longer as the story goes on. Now, on to the story! Hope you enjoy!

When you are eight, something very special happens. You will find out if you have a soulmate. Everyone who has a soulmate has marks under their eyes that appear on their skin when they're eight, and stay there permanently. The marks are curved, and they are the color of your soulmates eyes. Their size, shape, and number match your soulmates. When your soulmate is near, they glow softly their color, but when you meet someone and both your markings match, then glow bright white, you have met your soulmate. They turn white after that, and it's up to you to hold on to your soulmate. Your markings are permanently there, but they no longer do you any favors. You must not lose your soulmate, or you have to find them on your own.

This is my story. The story of what, you ask? This is the story of how I met my soulmate. And I will never lose her. We will always stick together. To get to the story though, we're going to have to look some years back.
