My BoB prelims matches are going smoothly. And from what I've seen so far, Asuna and Pito are killing it too. I haven't been able to watch any of Death Gun's matches though. Mostly because I couldn't see him anywhere, which makes me think he's a sniper? Or there's something else to it as well. As I walk around the pub looking for Death Gun, I spot Pito standing with a tall male. I sneak over to try and gather some info.

"It's good to see you enjoying yourself, El-I mean, Pito." The man says.

"Hehe, this is probably the most fun I've had in a while. Thankfully most of the guys playing this time are just noobs trying make a name for themselves, or they don't know how to deal with a sniper." She laughed. "Why didn't you wanna participate, M?" She asked the man.

"I'm a bit of a chicken." He tells her.

"Well I know that, but still! It would be awesome watching people freak out about your sharp shooting skills!" Pito says and slaps his back.

"I suppose so. But maybe next time." The man known as M says. "So, what about that lady you were with when you walked in?"

"Oh, you mean Sheik? That's a dude. And he's the same guy who freed everyone in SAO." She said.

She saw the duel against Kayaba?! But didn't I make it clear that it was supposed to be Kirito who beat him?! Well...most of the players don't know, only those on the assault team... So were they on the assault team themselves. But I've never seen them before. Wait...of course I haven't. These are completely different avatars. SAO used a person's real life appearance rather than a randomized avatar. So these looks might not even be close to their real appearances.

"Yup, that was him. He's also Death by Twilight." Pito says to him.

"I see." He nods. "What's someone like that doing here?" He asked.

"Probably to— Hmm. Actually, I have no idea." She shrugs.

"You didn't think to ask?" The man asked.

"Nope." She says.

"Hmm... Interesting." M says. "There may be something going on."

"Hey guys." I say and walk up to them. "I'm not interrupting something, am I?" I asked.

"Oh, hey Sheik!" Pito says with a smile. "How're your matches going? I can't even see you cuz your matches end so quickly." She says.

"Yeah. I'm getting used to this place and I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing." I chuckle.

"Hahaha! Yeah, it sure it something. Oh, right! Sheik, this is M. He's my irl husband." Pito introduces us.

I bow. "It's nice to meet you, sir." I say.

He does the same. "Likewise." He replies.

He was only a few inches taller than me, which was nice.

"By the way, Pito. Asuna is in a match right now, right?" I asked. "There's something I wanted to ask you about."

"Is it about SAO?" She asked and got serious.

I only nod.

"Okay then..." She also nods, and takes us to a table off to the side. "Me and M are SAO Survivors. Just like you." She said.

"Really? But you picked up GGO so quickly." I said.

"Me and Pito are adults. We don't have to go to the school like you teenagers do." M said next.

"So, what made you want to play GGO?"

"Well, that's a bit harder to explain." Pito says. "I don't exactly have a reason. I suppose I just wanted something fun to do whenever I had spare time."
