Once Asuna and Sheik had met up at the intersection they had agreed on, and Pito in a safe position, the two close in around the stadium.

"Okay... Let's get this pincer attack going. Even if GushiX isn't Death Gun, if we kill them before he can, that's another life saved from him." Sheik says.

"Okay..." Asuna nods.

"Keep your eyes open and your guard up. He could be around any corner." Sheik warn her. "And if something does happen, I'll come for you, and Pito's got you covered too. It shouldn't take that long to verify who Death Gun really is." He reassured her.

"Okay then. Let's get this over with." Asuna says as they start to split.

As they move, once Sheik was out of earshot, Asuna gets shot in her shoulder. 'What...? What happened...?'

What happened was that Death Gun was just around the corner, and he was waiting for Asuna to split up from her pals. And once she did, she was ripe for the pickings.

He slowly steps up to Asuna on the ground, grabbing his handgun at his side.

'If I don't do something soon...! He'll kill me...!' Asuna's mind went into a panic. 'Wait, why am I even thinking like this...?! Didn't I plan to die if I lost anyway...? So why...?! Why am I so afraid right now...?!' She asked herself, trying to reach for a weapon, but she couldn't keep a good grip on her own hand gun. She was slipping up, as Death Gun begins to do his cross motion.

"Now then... Sheik...if you are the real deal, you will come out after I kill this girl. Your berserk knife. Your mind boggling speed. You will show it to me once again...!" He begins talking to himself as he takes aim at Asuna. But before he could, a powerful shot flew right past him, causing the tall man to panic, and missing his shot. He then puts his gun away as more shots sound off, Death Gun's left arm gets shot in a spray of bullets. He quickly takes cover in the shadows of a building, and grabs his rifle, taking aim in the direction of the shots, taking a shot himself. There was no reaction, only silence, but a grenade suddenly flew into view.

Seeing this, Asuna braced for an explosion, and Death Gun fled into the building to escape the said explosion. But nothing destructive happened, just a smokescreen, as Sheik shows up and picks up Asuna in his arms, and running.

"Just put me down...! I'm only slowing you down..." Asuna says as he runs.

"Look, I get you're suicidal, but since you're in this, I'm not letting you die. So I'm not leaving you." Sheik says as they arrive at a buggy rental. Sheik sets Asuna in the back seat, and slaps the underbelly of the metal horse, for some reason, and gets into the driver's seat.

"Go go go!" He punches the gas just as Death Gun rounds a corner in pursuit. He quickly jumps onto the rental horse and starts to ride after the party.

"Oh no...! He's catching up!" Asuna screams in a panic.

"How the hell is a horse faster than a buggy?!" Sheik shouts as he turns and takes aim with one of his guns, trying to shoot the cloaked man. "Dammit...! I can't shoot with all the shaking!" He says. "And I need to keep my eyes on the road...! Asuna?! Can you move your body yet?!" He asked.

"H-Huh...? Yeah, I-I think so...!" She answers.

"I need you to drive this thing! I'll shoot him from there!"

"I-I can't...!" She says and starts clinging to Sheik's back.

"Then shoot him!" He says.

"I can't!" She repeats, continuing to hold the tall male.
