Sheik's PoV

It was time to finish this damn tournament. I take a look at my surroundings to try and spot Death Gun if he was nearby. He wasn't. As expected. Once I get a feel for the area, I shut my eyes and concentrate. I use the skills that transferred over from ALO, and listen closely to my surroundings. 'Footsteps coming from the west... That's Yamikaze... Asuna can handle him.' I think to myself as I sense incoming danger. Bloodlust. I quickly shoot my eyes open as I evade an incoming bullet that just barely skimmed my hair. I had successfully pinpointed his location, as I make a mad dash toward him.

My guess was right. He was hiding in a cave on the ground level, which meant that if I could close the gap, I can kill him. He wouldn't waste his handgun ammo on someone he can't kill with it, and snipers don't have the best close combat capabilities unless he wants to try hip fire. So I ran, closer and closer. Suddenly, a bullet line came from above. But not targeting me. It was targeting Death Gun. Which could only mean Pito was aiming at him.

Death Gun quickly changes his position, and takes aim at Pito up on the top of a tower in the desert. After aiming, he fires. And I'm guessing Pito did as well, because after a few seconds that felt like minutes, Death Gun's scope shattered, and his whole gun for that matter, leaving him unarmed. Seeing my opportunity, I lunge forward, but try to come to a halt when I saw him wield a sharp metal stick into my shoulder. He stared at me with his bright, glowing red eyes as I jump back and look at my wound.

"Tsk... I didn't know you could make metal swords in GGO." I say and look at him. "Judging from the shape and sharp point, I'm guessing it's supposed to be an Estoc?"

"That is correct. It can't be any longer, or heavier than this. But it does its job." Death Gun says.

"Do you find this shit fun?" I glared.

"I do." He replies.

"Of course you do, you sick bastard." I growl. "Well party's over, son. Once the ministry of internal affairs finds your SAO handle, you're done for. You and your little murder group."

"You sound so confident. But are you sure it will go down like that? You don't even know my handle. I never told you." He says with a small chuckle.

"Heh. Are you sure about that?" I say as a bluff.

"Then tell me. What was my handle?" He asked.

"Ya know, I was really hoping you'd overlook that." I sigh, and grab my knife. "Guess we'll do this the hard way."

"I don't get you. You could be with me. Fighting and killing the people you hate the most. Yet here you are, trying to stop me." He says.

"You kill people because you think it's fun. I kill people for a righteous goal. We're not the same." I tell him and rush forward to try and stab him quickly, but he somehow moved to the side and thrusted his Estoc at me, causing me to get hit again and jump away. "Dammit...! He's faster than me...?! No... He just has amazing reflexes..." I mutter to myself, but get no time to think, as he starts a flurry of attacks, forcing me to back away and weave with each thrust. If I was smaller, I'd be harder to hit, but now that I'm taller, he has more places he can hit me at. And he continues to hit me whenever I think I avoided his attack. And when I avoid one attack, another one comes the next second. 'I just need him to slip up somehow...!' I growl and continue to be on the defensive.

And while this was happening, I was wondering why Pito wasn't trying to shoot at him. Maybe the shot he fired hit her scope too? Most likely. And while my thoughts were all mixed up, my foot hits a rock in the sand, causing me to fall backwards. Wait, this is actually perfect.
