Catching cowbot

Episode 11 season 1 cowbot

It was a peaceful day, I walked outside me and Tails' shared home to see Knuckles was stretching because he and Sonic are playing coconut hurl. Tails was talking into a pretend microphone made of a pinecone on a stick. I shook my head before running over to the group.

"It all comes down to this final toss for the young echidna from Angel Island. He'll need a score of four to take the championship." Tails narrated, Knuckles grabbed Sonic and started swinging him around.

"Is that safe?" I asked, waiting for Knuckles to throw Sonic.

"Can he do it? Can he score a four? The crowd is on their feet!" Tails spoke, Amy started getting impatient.

"Can you get on with it already?" Amy asked, just as Knuckles threw Sonic and knocked three coconuts out of the tree.

"Denied! Three coconuts is not quite four." Tails said Knuckles looked disappointed at the failed record.

"Look!" Sticks yelled pointing to a fourth coconut falls and hit Amy on the head.

"Ow!" Amy shreaked, making Sonic and Knuckles laugh.

"They've done it! They've achieved the impossible! The team of Knuckles and Sonic has bested the team of Sonic and Knuckles!" Tails shouted, as Knuckles started celebrating his victory.

"Wait a minute. You were playing against yourselves?" I asked, confused at the scores.

"No! Weren't you listening? We beat Sonic and Knuckles. Ha! In your face, Sonic and Knuckles!" Knuckles cheered, still not realizing what he was saying.

"So you beat yourselves." I retorted, but a giant black storm cloud came with a sunrise, Dr. Eggman arrived from the cloud.

"Behold, rodents! Prepare to face the most fearsome destructive force ever to grace this, or any other world." Eggman announced, lifting his arm towards the storm cloud he came from and posing awkwardly. We all stared at Eggman and the cloud. "It'll be just a minute. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves." Eggman said, again lifting his arm towards the storm's direction, taking his pose again. We all just kept staring at Eggman. "Your doom is coming, I assure you!" Eggman spoke, before once more lifting his arm towards the storm's direction. More silence. Sonic and Knuckles, starting to be getting impatient. A cow's moo was then heard. "Ahh, here it is now! This. Is. Cowbot!" Eggman shouted, a robot cow, made its way towards the beach. It then landed in front of us.

"It's a cow." Amy said, unimpressed by Eggmans attempt.

"It's a cow-bot!" Eggman yelled and we all suddenly burst out laughing. "What's so funny?" Eggman yelled, agitated by all of us.
"Cowbot? That has to be the lamest thing you've ever come up with." Sonic retored, angering Eggman more.

"Not true. There was Spoonbot, Crybot, Mathbot, ooh, and who can forget Lamebot? Wait, what am I saying?" Eggman asked himself, before turning back to us.

"That's a lot of bad named robots" I spoke, thinking of even more that could exist.

"Yeah..." Sonic added to what I said, looking at me.

"Forgot about that one." Amy spoke, looking at Sonic and I.

"My breakfast is plotting to kill me..." Sticks said randomly, a sudden silence fell as we all suddenly looked at Sticks, who immediately noticed us looking at her. Suddenly an alert on Eggman's wrist controller went off.

"Ooh! Time to move my laundry to the dryer. I'll leave you with Cowbot's capable hooves." Eggman said, before turning away to go back to his lair.

"Okay guys, let's destroy this thing so we can get back to coconut hurl." Sonic ordered, Eggman suddenly stopped his Eggmobile and turned around.
