Episode 14 season 1 the meteor

As I flew down from the clear sky I saw my friends. They were watching a meteor shower near a campfire. I landed near them as colorful meteors ran across the sky.

"Tails, what are you doing?" Amy asked, Tails  was laying down on a rock looking at the sky.

"Just enjoying this beautiful meteor shower." Tails said, as colorful meteors rain down from the sky.

"That one's flying beautifully toward us!" Knuckles pointed out, a meteor flew over us and it crashed nearby.

"This could be a major find! We need to approach it cautiously and with great care so that-" Tails said, but Sonic interrupted him.

"Race ya!" Sonic announced, before speeding off and Knuckles, Amy, Sticks and I followed behind. Tails sighes in defeat.

"Wait for me!" Tails shouted, Sonic and I reached the edge of the crater and looked into it. A glowing purple meteor was shown to have landed within the center.

"Hah! First!" Sonic cheered, as the rest of our friends caught up to us.

"Only because you can run faster than us." I retorted, earning a glare from Sonic.

"Think again, Sonic!" Eggman yelled, with Orbot and Cubot beside him in the Eggmobile.

"Eggman?!" Sonic shouted, in surprise. Everyone else noticed Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot in the Eggmobile, which was hovering over the crater.

"That's right! And as the intrepid explorer that first discovered this regal rock, I hearby call "dibs"!" Eggman announced, which made Sonic mad.

"What does "dibs" mean?" I asked, Tails came up behind me.

"I'll explain later," Tails said, before looking back at Eggman.

"What? You can't call "dibs"." Sonic exclaimed, going closer to the edge of the crater.

"Oh, so now you don't respect "dibs"? What's next? Are you gonna allow "cutsies"? Flout the five second rule? Step on a crack without any regard for your mother's spinal column?" Eggman asked, leaning closer to the edge of the Eggmobile.

"Not cool, Sonic!" Knuckles said, looking at Sonic with his hand crossed.

"Of course I respect "dibs", but you can only call "dibs" if you are touching the thing you desire to "dib"." Sonic explained, this made Eggman agitated.

"Ohhh! Well, in that case..." Eggman started, Eggman and Sonic both raced to the meteor and touched it at the exact same time.

"Dibs!" Sonic and Eggman shouted as they both touched the meteor. A light suddenly covered the entire area. Once the light faded Sonic and Eggman were unconscious. I flew down to Sonic and Eggman with everyone else behind me. Orbot and Cubot grabbed Eggman and brought him home. I picked up Sonic and brought him back to his shack. Amy said that she would take care of Sonic so I left. I came back a couple hours later and went inside. Amy was tending to Sonic, who is lying on a hammock.

"How you feeling Sonic?" I ask, he doesn't answer me. He tried to get up but Amy pushed him back.

"Sonic, you rest here." Amy spoke, putting her hand on Sonic's chest.

"Yes, Amy dear. I won't move, for I am Sonic - heh - and this is my humble shack." Sonic said, Amy walked to the exit, glanced at Sonic, then left the shack. I ran after her only to hear Sonic speak. "Alright, don't freak out, play it cool. You're Sonic now." Sonic spoke before he laughed maniacally.

'This is Sonic okay?' I thought to myself as Amy poked her head inside.

"Did you say something?" Amy asked, I look inside the shack to see Sonic standing up like he was fine.
