MY RAY OF SUNSHINE [WangXian FANFIC]

Prologue

"Wei Wuxian is dead!"

All of the clans were so happy to hear it but not all. Lan Zhan who was standing near to the cliff where his heart fall down to the depths of the abyss. Tears flow freely to his cheeks. He keeps on asking why? Why Wei Ying needs to throw his life away? Why didn't he just took him too and let Jiang Cheng to destroy the rock so that Wei Ying is not alone. Why?

"Wangji!" Lan Xichen went to his brother who lost his light. The once bright Second Jade of Gusu was now dim, gloomy and lost. Jiang Cheng hugged his sister's body...

"Ah Cheng! Ah Cheng!" All of them were surprised to see a running Jiang Yanli from the entrance of the nighless city palace. Jiang Cheng's eyes widened and looked at the body he's holding. It turned into a paper doll when Jiang Yanli came. Jiang Yanli hold his brother's shoulder. "Ah Cheng, where is Ah Xian? He teleported me to a safe place near the nightless city! Where is he? Ah Cheng?"

One by one, tears started to flow from his cheeks. The bright light that enveloped Jiang Yanli and Wei Ying for a while earlier is because he transported Jiang Yanli away and use a paper doll instead. In the end, Wei Ying protected Jiang Yanli in the end.

"Ah Li!" They turned again and the clan leaders was soo surprised so as the disciples. Much more Jin Guangshan and Jin Guanyao. Jin Zixuan who they thought died at Qiongqi Path was still alive and here he is standing tall and proud as he was. Jiang Yanli teared up and run to Jin Zixuan who was looking at his father and brother. He hugged back his wife and kisses her forehead. "Ah Li, I am sorry I am late. Wei Wuxian didn't want me to go."

"Ah Xian? Why?" Jin Zixuan caress his wife's face and looked at his brother and father.

"He was afraid that someone is going to kill me. And indeed he was right, I saw it. I saw everything what happened to Qiongqi Path that time. Wei Wuxian is not playing the flute but someone else. And I didn't expect when I saw who it is, right brother?" Everyone looked at Jin Zixuan then to Jin Guangyao. "If not for Wei Wuxian who saved me before everything happened I might not know the truth and my wife is also killed."

"You... You're still alive?" Jin Guanyao asked and pointed at Jin Zixuan. "No, are you a fierce corpse that Wei Wuxian who made? Yes, Jin Zixuan is dead."

"No, I am not. I am not a fierce corpse nor my wife! You! How could you, I treated you fair and square! I treated you as a brother but you wanted to kill me? Just like how Su She killed the paper doll who acted like me? How dare you!" Jin Zixuan glared at him. Jiang Cheng went to the cliff where Wei Ying falls. Lan Zhan was kneeling and still mourning Wei Ying's death with Lan Xichen who is looking at Jin Guangyao disappointedly. Lan Zhan didn't mind that everything is chaotic when he saw Jiang Wanyin, his anger get ahead of his head. He hold Jiang Cheng's shoulder and pulled him away.

"Jiang Wanyin! I told you to stop but you didn't! Wei Ying is barely holding on but you just... You wanted to kill someone who sacrifice everything for the good of others. Someone who stood on the side of justice even if it hurts and I-" Lan Zhan closed his eyes and deeply sighed. He doesn't have a right to get angry with Jiang Cheng because he too was not with Wei Ying's side when he needs someone.

"Ah Ying..." Jiang Cheng called and cried. He stood up and with other Jiang disciples they went down to the cliff to look for Wei Ying. Jin Zixuan looked at his brother sternly.

"Don't get angry at me, brother. But for the peace of the people you must be contained in the dungeon. Same with Su She," Jin Zixuan said and told the Jin Disciples to seize Jin Guangyao. The latter looked at his father who just looked at him disappointed. The some of the Jin disciples left to transfer Jin Guangyao and Su She but the other clan leaders were relieved that Wei Ying is dead. Nie Mingjue is scoffed and crossed his arms.
