Chapter 41 - Siblings

The Jiang Siblings are in Jade pavilion, one of the pavilions that are for public use. There are also a shallow river near where the children can play. Wei Ying, Wei Yuan, Lan Jingyi and Jin Jinling where playing.

"A-Cheng, Do you and Xichen consider adopting?" Jiang Yanli asked. Jiang Cheng was drinking a tea but when he heard the question the tea went to the wrong pipe. Jiang Yanli was startled and when she noticed Jiang Cheng havinga coughing fit. "What happend to you, A-Cheng."

"The tea went to the wrong pipe," Jiang Cheng answered but there is a visible tint of red on his cheeks. Jiang Yanli chuckled.

"Don't tell me you're embarrassed to talk about this with me. A-Cheng, A-Xian was right, if you ever get married, you will be the recieving end," Jiang Yanli smirked and shook her head. Jiang Cheng's face became redder that he resemble a tomato.

"A-Jie!!!" Jiang Yanli laughed loudly. Then she noticed the a girl who is the same age as her. A woman with grace that also exude wit and impressive skills of cultivation.

"Who is that?" Jiang Yanli asked Jiang Cheng who also noticed yhe woman squinted his eyes.

"I don't know about her. I never heard her name but Grandmaster Lan said that she's from Baoshan Tulong Sect," Jiang Cheng answered. Jiang Yanli looked at her, she has ethereal beauty that seems familiar with her. Even the eye color... then Jiang Yanli gasps.

"Wei Ying's eyes..." Jiang Yanli said. Jiang Cheng turned to his Sister with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" Jiang Cheng asked confused. Then he noticed the woman come to them with a smile. Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng can't read the smile on her face. But the smile is so familiar with them.

"Finally, I meet you. The famous Jiang Siblings," She said when she arrived. Jiang Yanli's alert bells is ringing. She knew that this woman is not here for peace.

"It was the same for us. But, may I know which sect are you from, Guniang?" Jiang Yanli asked with a small smile. Jiang Cheng noticed it and his face hardened.

"Ah, where are my manners. We are from Baoshan Tulong Sect, I'm... Wei Fan. Wei Wuxian's blood-related Sister," Wei Fan introduced herself. Wei Fan is really the same age as Jiang Yanli. Cangse Sanren told her that Wei Ying already knew everything. Wei Fan, can alternate her age. And she assumed the age of 11 years old, so that Wei Ying can adjust faster if there is someone close to his age.

When she found out what happened to their parents, she was young to roam the world. But she still did, trying to find his younger brother, only ro find him being picked up by Jiang Fengmian. Since then, she tailed the Jiangs since the day Wei Ying is adopted. She even knew that Jiang Fengmian adopted Wei Ying to be a shield for his children. Ah, a wonderful love of the misunderstood father. (Notice thr sarcasm)

"Wei Ying's... Sister?" Jiang Cheng was surprised and looked at Jiang Yanli who's eyes widened.

"What... Wei Ying has a sister?" Jiang Yanli whispered and looked at Wei Fan. She does look like Wei Ying. Jiang Yanli's feeling started to change and gave her a warm smile. "Please sit down."

"Then if you were so kind," Wei Fan said and sat down in front of the Jiang Siblings and looked at the children.

"This is the first time I heard that Wei Ying has a sister the same age as me. That is why he's so sweet," Jiang Yanli said with a smile. Wei Fan smile.

"Yes, my A-Ying is the sweetest. She's clingy to mother and me when he was young. But Wei Ying was too young to remember and eventually, he forgotten all about me. I searched for him myself and found in your place," Wei Fan looked at them with contempt. "But what my baby brother experience in your house? He experience pain and loneliness. And it's been inflicted by your monster of a mother!"
