I think that this is the first argument I'm having with Kith. He's clearly pissed at me, but I understand why. If I were him, I'd be pissed too. But then, I can't back out on this. I've already made up my mind, and I'm pretty sure he knows that. But,sa'yo of course, I can't do this alone. In order for my plan to work out, I badly need Kith's help, as well as Detective Andrade's. I might also need the help of the whole police-detective force, because we're talking about a serial killer here, for heaven's sake! Kith's pissed at me, and he might not help me.

Hindi ko alam kung sasabihin ba niya kay Detective Andrade ang tungkol sa balak kong gawin, but if he doesn't, I still need to tell him about it. There's a huge possibility that he'll be pissed at me as well, just like his son is. Again, I can't do this alone! At ngayon lang nag-sink in sa'kin kung gaano ako ka-selfish kanina habang kinakausap si Kith. Damn it, I really messed up. He was right, we're partners, and that means the both of us must agree upon doing something dangerous before actually doing it...

I need to apologize to him.

I called him again, but he didn't answer. I tried to call him again two times, but he still didn't answer. He's mad at me, isn't he? He's not just pissed, but mad!

I decided to just send him a message... or messages.

Maiandra Agustino: Hey

Maiandra Agustino: I'm sorry that I acted selfish

Maiandra Agustino: You're right, we're partners, and both of us must agree upon doing something dangerous before actually doing it.

Maiandra Agustino: I know you're mad at me right now, again, I'm sorry.

For 10 minutes straight, I waited for him to see my messages. It took him 10 minutes to see all of it, and now, I don't know if he'll reply. If he'll ignore me on purpose, it's okay. I deserve that, but he can't ignore me forever.

And just like that, 20 minutes had passed, and he hadn't replied yet. Ni-seen niya lang 'yung messages ko. Damn it, I really messed up. He's really ignoring me right now. He's mad, isn't he? What should I do?

When I woke up the next morning, I immediately checked my phone to see if there was any reply from Kith while I slept last night, but there wasn't. I sighed heavily and got out of bed.

I should call Detective Andrade and tell him what I have in mind. It's past 6 in the morning, and I assume he's already awake by now, but is it too early for me to talk to him regarding the case?

Napag-desisyunan kong e-text na lang muna siya. I texted him the words, 'Good morning, detective, pwede po bang tumawag sa'yo ngayon?'.

Nagulat naman ako nang bigla niya akong tinawagan. Halos maitapon ko ang phone ko! Agad ko namang sinagot 'yon. "Good morning po, detective."

"Yes, morning, Miss Agustino. What is it?"

"I'm sorry for disturbing you this early in the morning, but I just have something to discuss with you regarding the serial murder case."

"You can contact me anytime of the day, even after my work hours, when it comes to the serial murder investigation. Go ahead, what did you want to discuss with me?"

"Well... it's actually better to discuss this in person, but I can't do that at the moment, so... I'll tell you on the phone instead... I want to lure out the killer by using myself as bait. I want him to target me."

"Yes, I already know about that. I just waited for you to bring it up first." he says in a cool tone, and my mouth goes agape.

"Po?" Na-sopresa talaga ako! He knows about it already, and he spoke about it in a cool tone! I was expecting him to get pissed or even angry at me immediately.
