Chapter 8
It's so much harder to investigate now. I don't even know how to start. There were no clues about the culprit. None. As in wala! How will we investigate, then? The police already asked Clint's parents if he had been acting weird before he died, and they said that there was nothing unusual about him. He was acting normally. Ayon din sa kanila eh palaging nagpupuyat si Clint, kaya gising pa siya tuwing alas tres ng umaga. In addition, his phone cannot be tracked.
"Then, my deduction is right. After luring the victim out with a phone call, the culprit just followed the victim from the back, and when the victim was in the alley where no one was around, he injected the syringe on the side of his neck. He then carefully sat him down and leaned his back on the wall, placing the syringe beside him... Based on the two previous murders, my deduction was that the culprit chopped off the victims' hands right after they died, and the same goes to the third victim." Detective Andrade said, while we're sitting on a 5-seater waiting chair inside the police station.
"He's methodical. And so far, he has used three different methods in killing his victims, but he applied the same method when it came to luring them out and chopping their hands off after they died." Kith says.
"But why does he chop their hands off? I still can't find a reason why!" sabi ko.
"That's the second thing on my list in which I badly want to know the reason behind. The first thing, of course, is to know who the culprit is. Even if the culprit is a psycho and all that, he has a reason for doing all of this, and I'm sure of it, because every single thing has a reason behind it." sabi pa ni Kith.
"I also badly want to know why he chops their hands off and what he does with it." said Detective Andrade.

It was past 10 in the morning when I got home.
Kith Moises Andrade: Tell me when you're home
Nagtipa naman kaagad ako ng isasagot.
Maiandra Agustino: Nakauwi na ko, safe and sound.
Sunod kong binuksan ang message ni Aubree.
Aubree Garcia: Nasaan ka? Anong nangyari?
Muntik ko nang makalimutan. I owe her an explanation as to why I took off.
Maiandra Agustino: May namatay na namang estudyante mula sa school natin, Bree. Clint Arevalo, a second year student.
Walang ano-ano'y nag-reply siya.
Aubree Garcia: What the f? Ano na bang nangyayari sa mundo? Nakakatakot!
Maiandra Agustino: Kilala mo ba siya?
Aubree's circle is pretty wide, even though it has only been three months since the classes started. Marami siyang kakilala, kaya baka kilala niya si Clint.
Aubree Garcia: Hindi
Another message popped up, and it was from Kith.
Kith Moises Andrade: Okay, that's good.

Another two days had passed, and during those days, I finished reading two books; And Then There Were None and ABC Murders by Agatha Christie. The pages of each book are more or less 300. I then continued where I left off on the first volume of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. Mukhang mapapasubo talaga ako sa isang 'to, because this book has a total of 1,088 pages. The second volume, meanwhile, has 768 total pages. But I prefer it this way, because plenty of pages means that I will be able to read a lot. Besides all that, I also did my research on serial killers relating to psychopathy.
