"What do you mean he can't change back?!"

Taeyong shrieked after Jisung rested his head in his lap.

"We don't know exactly how or why this happened either. It might be something to do with his background, or it could be because of what happened last night with the mages. Him being forced to transform by electrocution could've caused something to go wrong.."

YangYang explained, stressfully rubbing his nape.

"Is he in any pain..?"

"No. At least not from what we can tell"

"He said that he's not. He's just a bit worried"

Chenle butted in after shifting to his wolf form and then back again.

"So, what's going to happen at night then now that he can't change back?"

I asked next.

"He might just shift into his night form, and then back to this day form in the morning. But on the plus side, he'll be able to speak again at night...~"

Xiaojun had a nervous smile to try and lighten the mood.

"...I won't lie. I do love both of Jisung's forms, I really do. I'm just worried about the effect this might have on him if we can't find a way for him to change back"

Taeyong frowned, expressing his concerns.

"What does happen when a werewolf stays as a wolf for too long anyway??"

Jaemin asked, noticing how Jisung had fallen asleep from Taeyong petting him.

"..There was a time when I stayed in my wolf form for too long many years ago. At first everything was fine, but things got worse as the days went by. My wolf nature began to take over, and with every passing day, I slowly went feral. I could barely recognize anyone in my pack anymore, and I attacked just about everything on sight. If Johnny-hyung hadn't tied me up and forced me out of that form by shocking me, I don't know what would've happened"

Sicheng told his short story, as an example of what might happen.

"But since shocking Jisung only triggers his transformations, we can't turn him back that way. So..if we don't find a way to help him change back soon, he might just go feral too. And with his Crimsonmane blood, there's no telling how long he has until that happens or what he might do"

"Then what do you suppose we do?"

Yuta questioned Donghyuck, growing upset from his conclusion.

"Well... To be honest, I don't know hyung..."

"Should've known"

"Hey now, it's not his fault hyung. None of us are at fault. We just..have to find a way to get more information on the Crimsonmanes. That's the only way we can help Jisung, in my opinion at least"

I quickly defended Hyuck after Yuta came at him with an attitude, and tried to prevent any unnecessary arguments or confrontations.

"Yeah... You're right Mark.. I'm sorry for getting angry with you Donghyuck.. I'm just really worried for Jisung..."

"It's alright hyung. I don't blame you one bit for being upset. For now, we should try to think of a place we could possibly find more information"

"A place with books might be a good place to start.. Maybe Shotaro and I could check the school library for any books on werewolves"

Sungchan offered.

"Chittaphon and I can check the public libraries then"

Kun added with a smile.

"This could prove to be an effective strategy... In that case, we'll do a little more digging online to see if we can find anything useful"

Xiaojun informed the group before he walked off with YangYang and Hendery.

"Checking out a bookstore or two might help. Jaemin, Renjun, and I can check there~"

Yukhei offered up their assistance with a bright smile.

Everyone that offered to look in places with books then left the hut to find information, leaving the rest of us without a task.

"What should we do then?? Those are the only places people can find books around here.."

"Don't worry too much Jungwoo. We can all stay here for now unless were needed. I have a feeling Jisung might also be the key to helping us fix this. His Crimsonmane blood and instincts might just be a key factor in helping us find a solution"

Doyoung reassured us before walking off to his lab, seeming to have a lot on his mind.

"For now, we should just be here for Jisung. He's not as calm and collected as he might seem to be. He's a strong guy, but I know him well enough to know that he's just as scared as we are"

Chenle sighed as he sat next to Taeyong to watch over him.

Chenle only gets this serious and quiet when any one of us is in trouble. And now that his best friend is in more trouble than ever before, it has to be taking a toll on him. I felt the same way every time I thought about Donghyuck's injury before it was healed, and I know that he's trying to be brave and optimistic about this situation too.

While the others are doing investigations, the best we can do for Jisung now is to be here to support and comfort him. I know how bad things can go in situations like this, but I can only hope that nothing too bad goes wrong from here..
