"Yeonjun-hyung..."

"Quite a look you got there Jisung. And I see you've been struggling with keeping it under control with that pendant. I'll relieve you of that burden by putting you out of your misery. But first, you're both coming with us so we can have some fun"

Yeonjun smiled, twirling his staff in his hand.

"Johnny-hyung! Take the others and go!"

Jisung ordered as he lifted Chenle up onto his back, but that plan did not sit well with him at all.

"Absolutely not! We can't just leave you two here!"

"We'll be fine hyung! But you have to get out of here before all of you get killed! Chenle and I will be fine, so just go!"

"Hyung, we have to get back. We don't know if the other mages are out here, and Jisung is the only one of us that can use magic against Yeonjun. As long as he and Chenle are together, they'll be fine. But we have to go now"

Jaehyun persuaded his older friend, even though he didn't want to leave them alone either.

"...Damn it, fine. Jisung! You and Chenle take care of yourselves!"

"We will!"

"Now go!"

Both Jisung and Chenle encouraged the others to retreat, and they were soon left alone to deal with Yeonjun.

"Now, I'm gonna tell it like it is. We can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way. The choice is yours"

Yeonjun used wind magic to extinguish the wall of flames and immediately made the cuffs on the ground levitate before flying over into his hand.

"If you think we're just going to hand ourselves over nice and smooth, you're out of your mind"

Jisung frowned, tightly holding on to Chenle's arms that were wrapped around his neck.

"So, you'd rather to do this the hard way. Fine by me"

Jisung used his foresight to dodge the roots that burst from the ground to trap them, as well as the large rocks that flew towards them from the darkness.

"Hang on Lele"

"You know I will"

Jisung smiled a bit from Chenle's response, and quickly dashed off farther into the woods.
