"Jisung, are you sure that you can feel the pendant around here?"

Sicheng asked the younger wolf, receiving a nod from him.

All of the wolves were feeling a bit uneasy and agitated as their time began to run out. It wouldn't be long before eight pm, and the sun waited for no one as it quickly began to set. However, they were still determined to complete their quest.

The night before, YangYang had informed the group of something he had figured out. Just like Jisung's hunch, the pendant was closer than they had previously expected. Even though it was a long way from the range, they were glad that it wasn't an even greater distance. They had finally made it to the general area after hours of traveling, but only when Jisung started acting like he wanted to get out of the car.

They began their search by following Jisung and the information they had dug up, but they didn't expect their search to last all the way until seven pm. With just minutes left before eight pm, the group began to get more and more anxious. However, Jisung suddenly felt a stronger connection to something very close by and started running to find it.

The group followed him, until they all arrived to an area with old pillars and dirt covered tiles. Jisung approached one of the pillars, and began digging into the ground by one of its corners, until he found a chain under his paws.

"He really found it!"

Chenle approached the hole with the other wolves, and helped Jisung uncover it more before pulling it out of the ground. Taeil used the water he had to help clean the piece of jewelry, revealing its original beautiful colors.

"According to what we've read, all we have to do now is put it around his neck. The chain expands to adapt to a Crimsonmane's constant change in neck size, so it should be fine when he shifts again in a few minutes. It won't stop his transformation for the full moon, but it should turn him back to normal in the morning. And he should keep it on from now on unless we find another way to help him control his shifts"

Xiaojun explained.

"Chenle, I believe you should have the honor of putting the pendant around his neck. He's your best friend and you're the one that turned him. It's only right that you have this honor"

"Right"

After YangYang gave Chenle a bit of encouragement, he knelt down in front of Jisung and carefully put the chain around his neck and made sure it was in a comfortable spot for him.
