Karl laughed maniacally as he won the imposter round with Corpse. "Sucks to be you losers!" he cheered.
Corpse laughed as the others whined. Karl had created a lobby for an Among Us Stream; Him, Dream, Corpse, Emma, Rae, Tina, Tala, Toast and Leslie.
They were in their 4th round and currently Corpse was on a roll. "Corpse back in his game." Rae teased making them chuckle.
"I guess I woke up on the right side of the bed." Corpse answered. Karl laughed and was about to say something when Toast spoke.
"Hey, I'm so sorry but I just got an emergency text and I have to go." He said with a sigh. The friends rang out whines making Toast chuckle. "Really I'm so sorry but I have to go. I will make it up to you guys and Emma said she had someone in mind." he explained and left.
Karl sighed but asked Emma, "Who did you have in mind Emma?" he asked. Emma chuckled, "Someone you have been dying to play with." She said before excusing herself.
He started to giggle making the others confused as they heard Emma walk out her room and started to call someone. "Karl you know the person that Emma is bringing in?" Dream asked.
He hummed and nodded, "Yeah me and Luna do." He said as Star chuckled as she ran around with Tina. Corpse was about to ask how but Emma returned.
"Sorry about that, she's just gearing up." She said. As she did, someone entered vc, "Hi." A voice said.
It seems as though chat already had an idea on who it was, already spamming her handle. Karl chuckled, "Yes chat it is, yes! It is LainePlays!" Karl announced making Elaine laugh.
"Hi everyone." She said. "Wait LainePlays? You know Emma?!" Rae asked excitedly, Elaine laughed and nodded, "Were roommates." She said as she entered the lobby.
She changed her skin to red with horns. "The devil horns?" Tina asked as she stopped in front of her. Emma chuckled, "She's a devil in disguise especially when it comes to this game." She said.
"We'll see about that." Corpse finally spoke. This made Elaine stop but smirk, "Are you saying I'm a fake Mr. Corpse Husband?" she asked.
Dream laughed as Rae and Tina giggled, "No. I'm just saying you haven't played with me yet." He explained.
Elaine hummed and leaned closer to her mic, "Prove me wrong then."

Corpse slammed his hand on his desk, "How did you get away with it!" he yelled making Elaine snicker, "I'm just better than you." she said as Karl muted to end stream.
The group had been playing for 5 more rounds and the others were getting a bit tired especially Emma who left a round ago.
"You know for the whole rounds I felt like I was third wheeling, aren't you as well guys?" Dream teased making Tina giggle with Leslie.
"With who?" Karl asked confused making Rae chuckle, "With Corpsey and Lainey." She teased.
Corpse huffed and shook his head but before he could speak Elaine did, "Now don't say that, Corpse might develop some feelings for me." she teased.
Tina laughed and Corpse scoffed, "You're overly confident about me starting to have feelings for you." he said. Elaine could practically hear the smirk on his voice.
"Why? Aren't you already a little curious on how I catch you all the time as imposter or as I always twist the game when you think its me." she said in a low voice.
Something stirred inside Corpse, he didn't know if it was curiosity, intrigued or something else. But all he knew was that, this girl, was new and was someone different. Someone out of his normal day.
"I am but what if you were the one who falls?" he asked seriously. Silence was heard from the call until Karl came back.
"Hey- Oh. What happened?" he asked confused at the silence. Elaine cleared her throat, "We'll just see about that Corpse. Anyway, I have to go it was great meeting and playing with you guys. I really enjoyed it. I hope to play with you guys again." She said with a chuckle.
"We should do a stream soon!" Tina and Rae said with a chuckle. Elaine chuckled, "Definitely. Talk to you guys later. Bye." She said as she left vc.
As the others sat there chatting about Elaine and how pleasant and somewhat alike Emma but also different, Corpse sat there with a small smile on his face.
The different and new thing he had been looking for seemed to have arrived but in a form and way that he never expected it to be.
He unlocked his phone and searched for the girl. He didn't realize that he had let out a gasp, she was definitely different compared to Emma.
Her dark brown eyes, long red hair and plump pink lips. He smiled as a clip of one of her videos, he chuckled which caught the attention of the others.
"Ooh! Corpse is doing detective work." Dream teased making Tina excited, "You didn't expect Lainey to be like that Corpse huh?" she teased.
He couldn't even get an answer in, "She's so cool." Leslie said as Rae agreed. "So cool that Corpse is so smitten that he's searching her." Dream teased.
"How did you-" "Very predictable when you flirted with her the whole time." Rae cut him off.
"I did not flirt with her-" "You so were." Karl said making him laugh. "Whatever, I have to go. Thanks for the invite." Corpse said before leaving the call.
Before he went to bed he unlocked his phone again and decided to just fuck it. He touched the follow button and then placing his phone down. Not realizing the chaos it caused.
