Corpse rushed home, he miscalculated the time Elaina was gonna be home. He thought he had 2 more hours but apparently he was wrong.
When he saw her tweet, he just knew he was screwed. There had been times that Elaine had grown upset with Corpse and he just knew he had to put the big guns especially when she had just got back from a different state.
He opened the door of their apartment and Olive was quick to rush to him. He placed the groceries he had picked up from the store in the kitchen island.
He crouched down and pet the dog, he sighed, "Is mom really upset?" he asked. Olive sat down and whined making him frown.
Elaine walked in and leaned on the doorway staring at Corpse. He looked up and sent her a sweet smile. She huffed and walked away making him frown.
Olive barked and Corpse looked down, "Let's do this." he said grabbing the box he bought for her.
He walked to the living room where Elaine was trying to read the mail that they had gotten that day. "Bunny..." he trailed. She hummed not looking at him.
"Here, I got this for you." he said placing the donut box on the coffee table. She glanced but didn't give in. Opening the mail that Dream and Sienna sent them.
Corpse sat down next to her and brushed her hair using his fingers. She didn't move away which made Corpse relax a bit. "I got the groceries." He said.
Elaine hummed again and Corpse started to braid her hair. "I also bought Olive's medicine." He continued but Elaine didn't turn.
He sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her to sit on his lap. She huffed and put down the mail. "I'm sorry." He whispered nuzzling his face on her shoulder.
She scoffed, "I thought you'd be here-" "I know. I'm sorry. I thought you would get home later. I grabbed the groceries so I can cook you dinner." He said.
Elaine turned her head a bit and raised an eyebrow at him, "You?" she asked. He hummed and nodded, "Yeah." he said lowly and kissed her shoulder. She huffed and crossed her arms but he continued to kiss her until he reached her neck.
She sighed and leaned on his making him hum, "I'm sorry." He said again and she let him intertwine their fingers. "I'll cook your favorite tonight." He said.
She turned completely, "Lasagna?" she asked. He smiled and nodded as he nuzzled his nose onto her making her giggle. He moved her so she was straddling him as she laid her head on the crook of his neck.
"Good." She said making him chuckle. "I missed you honey." She whispered kissing his neck, the same way that he was earlier. He sighed in relief and completely relaxed.
"I missed you too beautiful." He said. She whined as she melted more into his arms. He smirked and rubbed her back, "You didn't look at what I got you." he said.
She shook her head and clung to him like a koala making him kiss her cheek. He leaned forward and grabbed the box, "I got one of your favorites-" "Danny's?" she asked excitedly.
Corpse chuckled and nodded as she opened the box and grabbed a donut and biting into it. She beamed at him as he wiped the icing from her mouth, "You're adorable." He said.
She scrunched her nose making him laugh, he threw his back and she smiled. Placing the donut back on the box before she grabbed his face, connecting their lips making Corpse sigh.
He gripped her hips as she moved forward. They were having a make out session when Olive barked. Pulling away they laughed when they saw the dog on the floor, sitting down and wagging her tail.
"Alright Olive. Come help me with the Lasagna." Corpse said as he carried Elaine to the kitchen. She giggled and grabbed the box as Olive followed them to the kitchen.
