Another One Page Author’s Note From, Surprise!, the Author:
Here we are again my lovely readers, in the midst of another one page Author’s Note that I so-love to write. You probably wanted it to be a chappie and I’m sorry that it’s not. Today is ‘write a bit on each story day’ and that’s exactly what I did. For now just a bit of commentary to answer a few unsolved questions inside of the making of IWDTLY (A Draco Malfoy Love Story).
Uno Momento: Question: Where did the idea come from? Answer: Nowhere. Isn’t that sad? I was just sitting about one day, thinking about all the Draco fanfics I had read so far and it just came to me. So for about a week I thought through the first chapter. And kablam! the story began. Nothing special. It was going to be a random story that didn’t have plot though, but then all of a sudden the idea for the Anatomy Class come up when I was stretching during P.E. and I was like “Whoa … that’s super awesome!”
Dos Gatos: Question: Is everything planned? Answer: Uh no. I find it utterly, impossibly impossible to plan anything. I didn’t plan Operation MALFOY, I didn’t plan Anatomy Class, I didn’t plan Ron, I didn’t plan the Winter Ball, I didn’t plan Draco POVs, nothing was planned. It’s too hard to plan anything. I just write. It’s struggling to sit there and plan out a chapter makes my brain hurt. I mean yeah, I did occasionally have a brain blast and began to go through what was going to happen but by the time I sat down to write I had a different, cooler, idea in mind.
Tres Naranjas: Question: What ever happened with Violet’s V-shaped scar? Answer: Nothing, I just decided to drop that one idea for another. I had started to have Draco burst into the dressing room (while they were dress shopping, remember?) and see it, freak out and such, but that didn’t type out as well as I was hoping for it to. All in all, the scar thing isn’t as big a deal as it had been thought out to be.
Cuatro Cuadernos: Question: What’s up with rewriting the title and then the chapter name over and over and over (and OVER) again? Answer: I Was Dared to Love You (A Draco Malfoy Love Story) Chapter 100,000: Shut the Fuck Up ‘Cause I Don’t Know Why. Basically, it annoys the freaking frock outta me to have to write it over and over again but if I don’t it’ll look weird. And I’m actually a big neat freak.
Cinco Viernes: Question: I ran out of questions. Got any questions for me??? Answer: I bet you do!
