Jayde knocks on the front door of the Sturniolo house.
"Hi dear!" Marylou greets the crying girl, "Oh my! What's the matter?"
"I'm okay I promise. Are the boys and Bella here?"
"Oh yes they're upstairs in Nick's room, feel free to grab a snack or something to drink on your way there."
"Thank you Mrs.Sturniolo!"
"Please hon call me Marylou."
"Thank you Marylou." Jayde pulls her into a hug and walks upstairs towards Nick's room.
"Jayde!" Bella squeals jumping off of Nick's bed to go hug her friend.
"Hi." Jayde says hugging the energetic girl back.
"Hi." Chris says, standing up to hug the girl.
She started crying again, "I'm sorry" She wept.
"Sorry for what?" The boy asked looking down at the brunette.
"I'm such a terrible girlfriend."
"No you're not!" He reassured her.
"Yes I am! My parents didn't even know about us and then when I told my mom she kicked me out! You deserve to be with someone who is proud to say that they're with you, not scared of how her mother would react."
"I told you to tell her when you were ready." Chris said letting go of the girl.
"I didn't have a choice! It was either that I told her or that I would never be able to hang out with you again." The tears poured down her cheeks like waterfalls.
"Do you want to stay with us?" Chris asked his girlfriend.
"Or you can stay with me." Bella spoke up.
Jayde looked over at the girl who was laying on Matt's chest playing with his hair, it was so obvious they were in love with each other.
"I'll stay with Bella if that's okay with you. I'll be down the street all of the time."
"Sounds good to me." He leaned down and kissed the girl.
Over the next two years, Jayde worked day and night to save up to rent an apartment and ended up renting a house by senior year. She started renting it with her sisters, Courtney and Ryen.
end of flashback...
"Have you prepared vows?" The officiant asks.
"Yes we have." Chris says.
"Mr.Sturniolo you may begin."
"Jayde, holy smokes I can't believe this day has arrived. 6 years ago I would never see myself standing across from the most beautiful woman I had ever set my eyes on. Freshman year of high school is when I first met you. We sat next to each other for a whole semester in Math and you never once mentioned that you were best friends with my best friend. I partially blame Bella for not introducing us. We started hanging out and I soon realized, wow, she is so stunning. My mom always told me to settle down with your first love, and here I am about to settle down with her. Here's to our happily ever after."

"My dearest Christopher. Ever since the day I met you, I knew you were the one. The man that I would do anything for, no matter the hoops I would have to jump through. You were a person I could see myself growing old with yet everyday, I know, you would find a way to make me feel like we were 15 again. I still remember when you asked me to homecoming in front of the entire school. I know that my parents never approved of you, but that's because they never got to know the Chris that I know and love. If they took the chances they were given, they would be so happy for us. Unfortunately they never did but that's their loss, of their daughter and a son. But oh my goodness, I am so in love with you and that feeling only grows more everyday. You are my soulmate, always and forever. I love you and this is us getting our happy ending."
A single tear rolls down my cheek as I look over at Matt.
They are so in love and it makes me so happy that they found each other.
"Before we carry on, are there any objections to this union? Speak now or forever hold your peace."
I scan the crowd sending death glares to anyone who might threaten to stop the wedding.
The crowd stays silent.
"Moving on, do you, Christopher Owen Sturniolo, take Jayde Eleanor Blake to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse?"
"I do."
"And do you, Jayde Eleanor Blake, take Christopher Owen Sturniolo to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse?"
"I do."
"With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, Husband and Wife."
"Can I kiss her?" Chris asks.
"You may kiss the bride." The man chuckles.
Everyone cheers as Chris dips Jayde and kissed her lips.
The two walk back down the isle together, then Matt and I, then Nick following behind the rest of us.
