Waking up back in my apartment was somewhat unexpected and confusing, being that the last thing I remembered was the guy in black stalk closer to me before it all went black.

'How did i get back here? Oh my gosh was he stalking me? How did he know where i lived' These were the thoughts I'd had racing around my mind for almost 2 days now.

Pushing them to the back of my mind, knowing they would resurface later in the day I clambered out of bed and into the bathroom to freshen up after not leaving my bed for at least 36 hours only to get food and return.

Getting out of the shower I swept my hand across the mirror wiping the condensation off so I could see my reflection. My eyes were puffy red and swollen, from all the crying I had done. I needed a new start. Moving to Hells Kitchen was turning out to be the worst choice I seem to have made in my 19 years of being alive.

After drying myself off and putting some jogging shorts with a tank top on, I strode through my kitchen grabbing an apple from the fruit dish and my house keys walking out of the door and starting my morning jog.

I had been jogging at a slow steady pace, my breaths coming in quick and deep. I soon found that I was running through a crowd of people so I slowed myself down in case I ran into somebody but I wasn't fast enough. I ran straight into somebody sending them flying and myself to the floor.

"Oh my gosh I am so so sorry" I desperately say as I clamber to my feet offering my hand to the man that I had ran straight through.

"No, don't worry about it accidents happen" A deep husky voice spoke from on the floor.

"Matt! What are you doing down there" A man shouted running towards who I now know was Matt.

The blonde haired guy ran towards us with concern written across his face, "What happened this time Matt?" He asked picking Matt up and reaching for something lying across the pavement.

Oh my god. It was a blind stick.

I ran into a blind man and knocked him down to the pavement. What kind of a person am I.

"I'm fine Foggy, don't worry about it" Matt spoke to the concerned guy who had come to his aid.

My heart rate started to increase at the sight of Matt standing up with his black sunglasses on, in a tight black fitted suit with a white button shirt, sported by a blood red tie. One word was screaming through my mind. ATTRACTIVE.

It was as if Matt knew my heart rate had sped up as he soon placed a hand on my arm. "Hey, it's okay don't get upset, I'm okay, your okay no harm done, yeah?" He spoke with sincerity laced In his words. I found myself nodding.

"You do know he can't see you nodding right" Foggy asked me with an amused look on his face.

Jesus Christ Alexi, embarrass yourself some more why don't you. My face flushed in embarrassment as I diverted my eyes down to the pavement mumbling an apology.

"Foggy stop making the poor woman feel even worse, May I ask what your name is?" Matt asked facing in my direction.

"It's Alexi" I mumble quietly suddenly feeling embarrassed to be talking to such an attractive man.

"Ah such a beautiful name to go with a beautiful voice" He says immediately making me flush even more.

"Okay you two, enough flirting" Foggy says noticing my tomato red face. I silently thank him but send him a death glare.

"Foggy why don't you give our new friend a business card so if she ever needed too she could pop by?" Matt says turning and grabbing hold of his bicep.

"Yes of course, you should come by sometime even if it's just for a chat" Foggy spoke out whilst trying to find the small piece of card, doing so and handing it to me.

Taking a look at the card one thing caught my eye straight away was the name at the top. Nelson and Murdock.

"I like the sound of that" I say looking back up at Matt and his friend.

"But I have to get going now so I shall pop by soon and see you, again I'm sorry for running into you and I hope you are okay" I say placing a hand on Matts shoulder.

"I'm fine sweetheart don't you worry" He says as a small but visible smile etches it's way onto his lips making me smile also.

"Okay it was nice meeting you two, see you soon" I say as I turn and start to make my way home.

What an eventful morning.
