Lucky One -- Twice FF

Chapter 7

We had just gotten to the dorm and we all just went our own ways. My family stayed in the living room talking while my members and I went to clean up after a long day. Once we were down we all ended up in the living room and started to eat. The adults all sat on the couches while I  sat on the floor with my sister and members. Little by little my other members started to return from their day out and after getting cleaned up they too joined us in the living room. My family and members seemed to get along well even with the language barrier which was a big relief for me. 

Currently Nayeon, Tzuyu, and Momo were entertaining Santi while talking with my aunt. Sana, Jeongyeon, and Dahyun were all with my sister entertaining her as she was being her usual social self. I was sitting in front of my mom as she did my hair. Mina, Jihyo and Chaeyoung were with us and we were all just talking. It was nice that Mina knew English so that I didn't have to translate for all of them. Of course I still had to translate some stuff into Spanish since my mom couldn't fully understand some things in English.

"Ow mami," I said as she had pulled a little too hard as she started braiding my hair.

"Cálmate ni te hale tan fuerte." She continued. (Calm down, I didn't even pull too hard.)

"Yeah Ana, cálmate," Chaeyoung said, trying to repeat what my mom said.

"Oh shush," I said, rolling my eyes. 

"You wanted to swear huh?" She teased me and I acted like I was gonna punch her. That only caused her to laugh since my mom had lightly slapped my arm to get me to calm down.

"Mina, ask them for tips on how to get her to stop being stubborn," I heard Jihyo tell Mina as I was back on twitter.

"Uh Jihyo wants to know if there's anything we can do to get Ana to stop being stubborn." Mina told my mom.

"Saying her first and middle name or giving her the look," My mom said.

"First and middle name?" Jihyo asked.

"Ana Paula," I heard my dad say all of a sudden.

"Junior did it," I said out of habit, which only made them laugh.

"See works every time," My dad said leaning back on the couch. 

"Why did you say that?" Chaeyoung asks me while laughing.

"When I was still in the States I was really close to my cousin Junior and we were troublemakers when we were together even with the age gap. So whenever I got in trouble or thought I was in trouble I would say he did it. He hated me for it but I still did it," I explained to them. 

"I thought you guys didn't see each other often?" Mina questioned.

"We didn't but we still got close." I said leaning back into my mom's embrace as she finished my hair. 

"Do you have any stories?" Tzuyu asked, joining our conversation.

"There was a time I had to climb through a window." I told them. "Ma remember when I had to climb the window because Karen locked herself in the room?"

"The amount of times that happened," My mom shakes her head remembering.

"My sister had the habit of locking doors when she was a toddler. There was this one time she locked herself in our room so I had to go around the house with my cousin in case I had to get into the room while my mom stayed inside to convince her to unlock the door. In the end I had to climb through the window and unlock the door." I explained to them.

"Was that the only time?" Tzuyu asked.

"No, it happened multiple times. I think one time she locked us out of the house but the balcony door was unlocked so I had to go through the balcony." I said and they seemed surprised. "I think that time Junior had to help me climb the tree that was next to the house."
