The great hall was decorated beautifully. I watch the champions come up with their dates in hand. They begin to dance and then others join in. Draco walks me out onto the dance floor. I put my hands on his shoulders like I was taught and he wraps his hands around my waist. We begin got dance staying totally in sync. He lifts he up and spins me. The slow dance finishes and they bring out a band.

It was weird to be with him like this. Jacob had asked Pansy. I saw him in the corner with her. He didn't seem annoyed like Draco normal is. I look back to Draco.

"I'm bored," he whines. He takes my hand and begins to walk to the door.

" and where are we going?" I ask.

"I don't know. Just somewhere quiet," he says.

We leave and the noise of the ball slowly goes away. I know the teachers are looking for students outside the ball so we found a place to hide and be alone.

Harry pov

I got bored with my date. I'd much weather be with Lexi or Cho. I see Cho with Cedric and my heart drops. I turn and see Lexi sneaking out of the ballroom with Draco. I can't even believe he would take her. She's a mudblood. And I can't believe she turned me down for him.

They leave the room with there hands locked together. He is leading her. I get up and Ron stops me. I tell him and he joins me. He had a fight with Hermione. We follow them out of the ball. They round a corner and come to a halt outside of the courtyards.

I watch trying to figure out what he was going to do to her. I watch him pull her close and I almost lost it when he kisses her.

Lexi pov

We stop outside the courtyard. He wraps his his arms around my waist. My arms lock around his neck. He pulls me in and I he kisses me. My tongue pushes against his. My fingers run through his hair. His hands are on my head ruffling my hair.

He leans over and whispers "I love you."

My breath hitches. I feel his breath on my neck.

"I love you too," I reply after a moment.

He pulls me back in for another kiss

Draco pov

It was split second decision. I'd loved her since the first kiss. Id loved her since we were kids but this was a new kind of love. She took a second to respond and I was scared it was too fast. Or worst she didn't feel the same. I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding when she whisper it back into my ear. I find myself longing to be with her all the time.

She pulls away. She tells me she had to go before it got to late. She kisses me one more time before heading to her dorm. I watch her go and wish she was back in my arms. We can be public now but it still feels like she is so far out of my reach.
