Kiss of Death (HOC V.1)

Welcome Arya

Boden: "And lastly I want to introduce you all to Arya Hayes. Our new paramedic-in-charge on Ambulance 61."

Arya: "Nice to meet you guys. I've heard nothing but great things. Or bad things I guess is a better description because my previous house did not like you guys. But if you read between the lines you'd see it's just jealousy." she hums

Boden: "Everybody please make her feel welcome." he nods, looking around the group as they lightly clap

Arya: "Hmm. Warmer welcome than the last time."

Boden: "Arya, Connie in the bullpen, she handles all the paperwork. Please check in with her."

Arya: "Cool. Thanks for taking me on, Chief."

Boden: "We're lucky to have you" he nods, watching her walk out the room, turning to give the room a stern look "Okay, everybody, listen up. Here at 51, we are together 24 hours of the day, and we are indeed a family, and we have been very fortunate not to have much turnover. So I'm gonna say this with the utmost respect. Get over it."

Otis: "Mills was here for three years, Chief. You can't expect us to just flip a switch and get over it."

Boden: "And I have been here for 22 years, Otis. Now, my orders are, welcome in the new PIC. Any one of you, you have a problem with that, you come in my office. If you have a legitimate reason, we will discuss it. Other than that, you stop looking like somebody just pissed in your coffee!"

Matt: "You're right, Chief. It's taken care of."

Kelly: "We got it, Chief. Our bad."

PA: "Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, structure fire, Wabash and Silverhill."

Brett: "Super nice to meet you."

Arya: "You too."

Brett: "So you're the PIC?"

Arya: "Yeah. Typically I'm pretty chill but if it's alright with you I'd like to be the one who does restock. Just a little tick I have."

Brett: "Yeah, sure no problem."

Arya: "Great." she hums, hopping in the ambulance

Brett: "Sorry if that was a little frosty back there."

Arya: "Nothing I haven't been used to yet. But already I can tell this house is better than the last one."

Brett: "How's that?"

Arya: "There's more than one woman here."

Boden: "Upper unit fully involved."

Matt: "Fire on one also."

Man: "Better put that sucker out before the whole damn block goes up."

Ryan: "No. We just came to watch the flames." she scoffs, giving him an incredulous look
