Waking up with a groan, Matt looks over at where Ryan sits at the edge of the bed, pulling one of his shirts over her head
Matt: "I have a request."
Ryan: "Yeah? What's that?" she chuckles, squealing in surprise a little when he pulls her back onto the bed
Matt: "We don't move from this spot for the entire day."
Ryan: "Yeah, and skip your shift? Hmm?"
Matt: "I'll just have the truck pick me up here if we get any calls."
Ryan: "I don't think these boxers are going to stand up against a fire."
Matt: "I'll just call out orders from this spot. Cruz, grab a 2 1/2. Mouch, put down the sandwich." he jokes, making her laugh while pressing kisses to his neck
Ryan: "At 24 hours and 1 minute, I wanna be right back here."
Matt: "Deal." he whispers, pressing a kiss to her lips

Matt: "Sure you don't want me to go with you?" he questions, exiting the car parked in front of the firehouse
Ryan: "It's not my first psych eval. Besides you being there giving me those big worried puppy eyes is only going to add to my anxiety" she hums, making him chuckle a little "I am choosing to go with the method of not worrying until I have to."
Matt: "Sounds like a good method." he hums, pressing a kiss to her lips
Ryan: "Have a good shift. Try not to burn to death...we have a date in bed for later."
Matt: "Can't wait." squeezing her hand he begins walking off as she watches, the smile on her face quickly falling once he's inside and she looks around before slowly moving over to the driver's side

Sitting in the waiting room, Ryan nervously bounces her leg on the ground, fidgeting with her nails. Looking around the empty room she shakes her head, standing to walk out but gets stopped by the door opening
Doctor: "Ryan Casey?"
Ryan: "Yes, that's me."
Doctor: "Right this way." he nods, stepping back a little so she can walk through the door

Ryan: "Hey, Chief." she greets, leaning against the front of her car
Boden: "Hey. What are you doing here? How'd your eval go?"
Ryan: "Good. I-I think" she shrugs with a sigh "I don't know. I mean...I think I'm fine. I feel fine but...according to everyone else I'm not fine."
Boden: "Whatever happens we will deal with it accordingly."
Ryan: "Hmm. You mean determine if I can continue working or not."
Boden: "Ryan..." he sighs, giving her a soft look
Ryan: "Oh, come on Chief. We both know that no matter the results say it's gonna be pushed to not have my on squad anymore."
Boden: "We will not let that happen."
Ryan: "Yeah, right." she nods, giving him a look of disbelief
Kelly: "Hey" he greets, coming over to the pair, giving Boden a hard look "You ready?"
Ryan: "Yep" she nods, watching him ignore Boden while getting in the car "See you, Chief."
Boden: "Bye." he nods, beginning to head to his car as Ryan gets in the driver's seat
