Benny: "Hey."
Kelly: "Hey. How was the drive?"
Benny: "The usual...long" he chuckles, pulling him into a hug "Good to see ya. Suspended?"
Kelly: "Yeah, it's not a big deal."
Benny: "The hell it isn't. What the hell kind of operation's Wally Boden running anyway?"
Kelly: "The captain is the one who dinged me. I got it under control. How much longer you in town?"
Benny: "I was going to split right after the gala, until I heard this jag-off put you on ice. You hit him back?"
Kelly: "Look, it's been a rough couple days. I don't need you coming in here and telling me what I did wrong."
Benny: "Don't be rolling over, Kelly."
Matt: "Benny."
Benny: "Hey, Casey" he greets, shaking Matt's hand "Hey, you got a take on this mess?"
Matt: "We put a call into the union reps. It's just a ding right now."
Benny: "In my day, somebody came at your buddy, he got dragged into the alley."
Matt: "First of all, this is a captain."
Benny: "Who stepped up to Kelly off-duty, in a bar. Fair game."
Matt: "Second of all, if Kelly had kept his cool, it may not have come to this. And yes, I got his back, if that's what you're asking."
Benny: "Do you?"
Matt: "It's good seeing you, Benny. Running late for shift."
Ryan: "Hey." she greets, rushing through the front door
Matt: "Hey. What're you doing here?"
Ryan: "You have extra bottles, right? I'm all tapped out and I gotta get him over to Candace's."
Matt: "Yeah, sure." he hums, moving back into the kitchen
Ryan: "Normally wouldn't be rushing but thanks to somebody..." she hums, nudging Kelly's arm "Patterson now threatens the possibility of dinging us if we're even a minute late."
Kelly: "Good morning to you too." he hums, giving her a sarcastic smile as she chuckles
Ryan: "Hmm."
Benny: "Hey, Ryan." he smiles, watching her face fall a little
Ryan: "Benny."
Benny: "So this is the little guy, huh" he exclaims, moving closer to where she stands "Can I?"
Ryan: "Yeah, sure" she nods, placing Mateo in Benny's arms "This is Mateo. Mateo, this is Benny. Biologically your grandfather but we'll see if he lives up to it."
Benny: "He's got your eyes, Ry." he smiles, bouncing Mateo in his arms
Ryan: "Yeah. Hopefully he gets my personality. Matt's already got a lock on looks. It'd be stingy of him to get personality too." she hums, making the three chuckle
Benny: "Why don't you go ahead and leave him with me. Give us a chance to bond."
Matt: "You sure?"
Benny: "Yeah. Plus Kelly will be here so if anything happens we're good."
Kelly: "Ry?"
Ryan: "Fine" she sighs "Thank you."
Benny: "No problem. Hey, what do you say we get dinner while I'm here. Just me and you."
