Leshy was created as one of four Scrybes, with the power to create cards that had some of the most powerful magic of his formerly-mundane world. He was the Scrybe of Beasts and, with his camera, he was one of the four most powerful individuals in the game, and yet he was still one of the happiest. Childish, playful, full of brilliant stories, wondering about if other users would see past his creepy personality... everything was fine.
Or it was until the day Kaycee, who was the only user to actually understand and befriend him, betrayed him... abandoning him and leaving him trapped deep under earth and stone, unable to wake up. When Luke Carder dug him up and started the game to wake him, he thought he had a new friend, but the user saw him as the evil one and it took him sacrificing himself and preventing the nefarious scheme of his fellow Scrybe for Luke to see him as anything but evil.

Darkstalker hatched under the brightest night, with all its benefits and animus magic to boot. He was the most powerful dragonet of his time, and yet he was still an average dragonet in personality. Childish, playful, full of brilliant ideas, wondering about who he could be friends with... everything was fine.
Or it was until the day Clearsight, who he was destined to love, betrayed him... abandoning him and leaving him trapped deep under earth and stone, unable to wake up. When the earthquake woke him up and Peril and the Jade Winglet freed him, he thought he had friends, but they saw him as the evil one and it took him being turned against his will into a helpless dragonet for them to see him as anything but evil.

Neither of them knew their similarities to the other, but whereas one stayed on his path, playing the game how it was meant to be played, the other let his soul fall apart from the greed of his actions, turning into the monster everyone saw him as.
However, the loop begins anew, and this time, both worlds, as Leshy's last laugh before his sacrifice, are connected. And now, Leshy (an orphaned NightWing/LeafWing now) and Darkstalker hatched together under the same brightest night.
