Hello, it is me, the author. I will say that things have been slow and I realize this. I have something that I need to confess. I do not write stories in the standard way. You know how some authors claim that their imagination, their creativity, or the story itself possesses them? Most of the time, this is not really the case. They always have control over where the stories lead.
This isn't the case for me. When I type I tend to fall into the zone and just end up along for the ride. Around July or August, I typed 2 prologues and 9 chapters into a Google Doc, snapped out of it, and then laughed. No way anyone will enjoy this, I thought to myself, but then some friends of mine talked me into posting it onto Wattpad and (once I have a better idea of things later on) AO3. I then had another burst and made it up to 18, and since then, I have yet to have another incident and that gives me a problem since I am so reliant on my stories taking over. It just feels more... natural, I guess.
So yeah, I'm at the point just like shortly before that talk they had, where I'm sort of in that moment where I'm taking time to gather myself. This time, I plan to make small edits that I feel like I need to make, then I'll start moving this set over to AO3. Around that time, I should be back to where I need to be to start releasing more chapters.
In the meantime, I have a second story that has a bunch of specials. At the time I'm writing this, it so far has part 1 of what is essentially an extended .5 chapter from the perspective of the main villain, "Peacemaker" (as well as the reveal of what this "dragon" really is) who will end up doing far more than just make Darkstalker pull a hikikomori for 6 months and discover that he is the 5th Scrybe.

UPDATE 1!: I have now made my edits. I will soon start also publishing on AO3. Ironically, one big mistake I made was misnumber all the chapters starting chapter 7, making it so there were two chapter 6's. That's all been corrected, as well as some of the other things that I had intended to modify/fix.
UPDATE 2!: Did a bit of reorganizing today and fixed some typos. I will be spending the next week putting things on AO3. When I finish, I will be providing a link to AO3 in my profile.
