Leshy had a rough time dealing with his teacher. All... something. He knows that she was, in his opinion, quite full of herself, which made it so easy for him to ignore her. She was being so unbelievably resentful towards his classmate, who he realized just a bit later was Clearsight. He's known that she was in this school, but he didn't expect to be sharing any classes with her, especially since she's a year younger than him. Darkstalker's going to be furious when he finds out.

And then the statue incident happened. Leshy can't shake the feeling that he should've known about that statue. It's embarrassing, to say the least, that it was seeing the incident happening exactly one minute in the future that saw him running out of the room, skipping out on the last part of class before his teacher let them leave, leaving all his classmates in shock. He saw her right there, pinned down by the statue and crying out for help.

For now, he has a short break thanks to him running out of class. He sits outside, holding his talons out so a bird can perch on it, and one was. It was a raven. There aren't many ravens in the Night Kingdom, even if they do share one of the most prominent NightWing colors. And he was doing something that most dragons would see him as... weird for doing.

"So, how are you doing this fine night?" Leshy asks it.

Surprisingly, the raven responds for once. "Quite alright, thank you very much. I'm a bit lost." Leshy blinks. That's the first time that's ever happened. He talks to birds and beasts a lot as a joke from his earliest days, but this is the first time they've ever talked back.

However, he takes it fully in stride. "You are on the Southwestern peninsula. NightWings like me live here."

The bird tilts its head, looking into the distance, though which direction is hard to know. "Thank you. I'd best be going now before I'm caught." Leshy nods and it flies away, heading Northeast.

All Leshy could think about was one thing. I've got to tell Whiteout this. Hopefully, he's not too late, though he worryingly feels like he is. He walks to where he feels he could find her and, as expected, she's in room 3A already. Who would've thought she'd be so studious? I never would've thought she'd have it in her, Leshy thinks with a chuckle, getting a few glances from others who are slowly being released and moving on to their next class.

He steps into class. It's History... and Leshy already knows he's going to dread it. Of course, the slow feelings of dread fade away as he sees someone that he had stumbled into once and they were nice enough. They never really talked, the other dragon just helped him pick his stuff up after they bumped into each other and left Leshy dazed. However, he was just late enough that he wasn't able to talk to them and finally thank them. It'll have to wait, he thinks as he watches his teacher. Things are going pretty smoothly, if a bit boring. Strangely, Leshy's finding himself enjoying this class. It's a whole lot better than the one he had earlier. He has time to think. He holds the box, pointing it at a potted plant and mutters "No need to smile". As if it knew that this is quite a precarious situation, it makes no noise and no flash, and the plant remains, if looking slightly withered.

That's the thing with his box, something that no one else notices (due to him almost always using it without anyone around) nor does he clue anyone in on it. It quite literally captures what he points it at, making the subject vanish without a trace under normal circumstances (or, in the case where the subject's sudden absence simply can't go unnoticed, it is merely killed or weakened). He opens it and sees that it appears in full detail, though looking like it was painted by someone who only had a scroll and writing ink.

He starts writing things in, feeling as if the things he's writing are perfectly natural. A name, "Fir Seedling" at the top and, at the bottom, a zero on the left and a 1 at the right with a sort-of sundial like the ones he's seen on display a few times in the center. As if it knew what he was writing into it, the ink on the picture slowly morphs to look like a recently-planted fir tree.
