Christmas eve

It was Christmas eve, they were all very excited for the day ahead. They had nothing better to do, so they spammed the friend group chat.

"I can't wait for tomorrow. I don't think i'm gonna be able to sleep!" -Kyra.

"Me neither" Kai and Elliot replied, almost in sync.

"I'm probably just going to spamming you guys tomorrow because i get really bored on Christmas day my family don't come over till 4!" -Elliot

"That's fine :)"- Kyra

"Actually El, can we talk on private for a sec? I just wanted to ask you something x" -Kai

"Sure!"-Elliot

"OOH WHAT'D I MISS"-Logan

"Not much 😂"-Kyra

*they went into private messages*
"What's up?" Elliot asked.

"Oh uhhh, i just wanted to ask you something El, is that okay?" Kai replied nervously.

"I think so? 😂 it's not anything bad right?" he replied.

"No, no nothing to worry about!" Kai responded.

"So what's on your mind then?" Elliot asked.

*Kai types paragraph*
"Well... I don't really know how to start this to be honest. But you've been my best friend for a bit now and I felt like I should tell you this instead of keeping it secret. The truth is, i've liked you ever since I first lay eyes on you i just didn't realise the fact until more recently. I really do like you El and it's fine if you don't, and if so then we can just pretend this never happened if you want but I just wanted to tell you" Kai said.

"Woah that's a long paragraph! I like you too. I just didn't want to say anything because I was just so scared of losing you, as my best friend. You mean so much to me Kai, I was just so scared. I wish i'd have told you sooner. Does that mean we're boyfriends now? How will we tell the group? I'm probably asking too many questions aren't i... I'm just really happy i'm sorry" Elliot replied.

"Yes, yes we are and we'll figure that out ourselves :)" Kai said feeling so relieved.

"Alright then <3" Elliot said feeling happier than he had done for a while.
