When they got back to school Kai and Elliot became really good friends. They sat together in pretty much every lesson, every break and every lunch. They spent like every day together. The thing is, Kai had a friend group and he hadn't really been engaging with them since him and Elliot became friends. He was so focused on him that he kinda forgot about them. They felt as if he was ignoring them so one of his best friends out of the group, Kyra text telling him to introduce "the new guy" to them. Kai decided to just go with it and hope for the best...

There were 4 other people in the group... Kyra, Danny, Summer and Logan. They were all very different and individual people but they actually really seemed to like Elliot. He became a very valued member of the group. He was kinda like the "child" of the group because everyone felt like they had to protect him and look after him even though they knew full well he was more than capable of doing that himself.

It was quite cute actually... What was he thinking? I mean Elliot was cute but- Why was he thinking like this? He started to realise the feelings he had for him was way more than just wanting to be 'best friends'. It always had been ever since he met him. Ever since he walked into that classroom that one day. Everything changed. That something about him, well it was love at first sight i guess he just hadn't come to realise it. Kai didn't usually believe in that shit but he couldn't help but wonder...

Then again, less than a week after Elliot had joined the group Summer and Danny got together which wasn't really surprising but then went and dropped them. Left completely. They never said anything, just blocked the entire group on everything, moved and started talking shit about them from what people were saying. It was so strange but Summer and Danny were quite problematic people overall and looking back, Kai was very glad that they were gone. He was glad that Elliot didn't have to deal with that because at times they could be a lot. They were the kind of people who tended to get in trouble a lot and get other people to as well. Elliot was too nice for that. He didn't deserve that.

But now it was just Kyra, Kai, Elliot and Logan. To be fair, Danny and Summer did happen to be the token straights of the group as well so like...Elliot and Kai were gay asf and definitely had a thing for each other but were way too scared to admit it. Kyra was non-binary and bi and Logan was Pan. (not to mention they also low-key liked each other just saying) So they spent the rest of that month getting to know each other and they became the best and closest that group had ever been. It was honestly a pretty good thing that Summer and Danny left...
