I shook my head the slightest and pulled away from him slowly. "I'm sorry Kian, but I can't." I said in a whisper. He cocked his head, "Why?" he asked desperately. I let everything sink in, I have Danny now. Kian should've let me know how he felt sooner right? I looked to the floor, "I have a boyfriend, Kian." I said getting annoyed at the conversation. "Aliyah, I don't even care! I just need to know if there's still that powerful electricity between us. I need to know this so I can move on." He said running his hand through his hair. Kian looked quiet a bit different these days. He had his natural brown hair again and looked a lot more mature. I also looked a lot different too. I had died my hair brown and put more effort into my style now that I had more time. I looked up at this changed man that I had use to once call my own, I nodded my head thinking about how bad it were to feel if we were destined to be together and never were again. Kian smiled and came towards me. He put his hands against my face and neck, and pulled me in to a kiss. I really wasn't sure I should be doing this, like dude I'm cheating! But damn after this! The kiss started off with innocence and a lot of questions. By the end it resulted in all those questions being answered and I finally knew what to do.
I walked down hallway to the men's locker room. The game had just ended and I needed to see Danny. I walked into the room and sat down next to him on the bench. "Hey, you did great tonight!" I said to him before looking at him. Danny was sitting in his gear, slouched looking at the ground. "What's wrong?" I asked curiously, scooting closer to him. He stood up and turned to me, "Your ex comes into town and you think it's okay to cheat on me. Let me guess now you want to be with him?! Aliyah, I'm not into playing this game. I completely understand you're always going to have feelings for him because of Mason but damn. What you did really hurt me and I'm just done, okay?" he finished taking a deep breath and looking at me. I stood up to him and grabbed my purse, "Danny, I honest to god did not mean to hurt you. I really really like you. I just feel like I need to try one last time
with him. I'm sorry." I finished softly before I turned and left the stadium. I walked out to my car feeling a little sad at the whole situation. Why do I always hurt so many people for Kian? I mean maybe it isn't meant to be. Whatever, no turning back now.
