After about four days we were getting, Mason Jace Lawley, dressed in a monkey onesie and placing him in his car seat.  I put my lips on his tiny forehead before letting Kian lift him in his car-seat to take him to the car.  Once we signed out of the hospital, I hobbled out to the car, where my family was waiting for me, "Ready?" Kian asked sweetly as I climbed in.  I smiled and gave him a short peck on his lips, "Yup" I said buckling up.  We drove in silence all the way home, which was a little awkward considering we're always talking.  As I opened the door I was overwhelmed with a huge group hug.  I moaned and gasped for air, "Oh my god, guys let me go!" I croaked as they squeezed me.  Jc, Ricky, Sam, Trevor, Casey, Alison, and Jenn all finally released me.  "We missed you, where's the baby?" they all exclaimed.  Kian walked in and placed the carrier on the couch, "Surprise baby!" he whispered giving me a slow passionate kiss.  I smiled wide, "This is so sweet of you." I replied as I unfastened Mason's buckle and lifted him out carefully.  Casey, Alison, and Jenn were in love with Mas already.  "You wanna hold him?" I asked softly as I handed off the baby to the girls.  They passed him around for awhile until it was the boys' turn.  I got up and walked to the kitchen to make a bottle.  Two firm arms wrapped around me from behind, the owner of the hands kissed my neck softly.  I turned around to see my wonderful boyfriend staring intently at me.  "I love you." I said reaching my hand out to him.  He took mine in his, "I love you too baby."  We walked out to the living room to retrieve our baby, "Okay, time to eat monkey!" I cooed as Ricky handed him to me.  I held him in my arm and walked down the hall towards his room.  I sat down and began feeding the bottle to him. After he finished off the bottle, I burped him and placed him in his cozy crib.  "I love you pumpkin." I said quietly kissing his cheek.  Walking over to the lamp, I switched it off and walked out of the room, closing the door.

Another hour had passed while we were busy catching up.  "I'm going to go lay down."  I said tiredly walking over to Kian.  He nodded his head and gave me a kiss.  This whole "Being Mom" thing is tiring.  I threw on some sweats and a tank before climbing into bed.  Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I woke up to a screaming baby at 3:00a.m, "Mason wants you." Kian moaned tossing over.  I sighed aggravated, "Did you even try to sooth him?" I asked getting out of bed.  In his room it was even louder, "Shhh!" I made out as I picked him up.  Immediately, I knew that he needed a new diaper.  I laid him down on the changing station table, and began to clean him up.  Then I fed him again before burping him and put him to bed.  I trudged down the hallway in search for the dogs, "Jack, Squirt, lets go outside."  I said quietly.  They emerged into my sight and followed me to the back door.  I opened it and followed them outside, "Go be good." I said as they went and did their business.  We came back inside and this time they followed me into the bedroom before I closed the door.  I crawled into my side of the bed and slept for about another five hours.

--Kian's POV--

I rolled over to see Aliyah sleeping soundly as our son cried loudly.  I decided that waking her up is just going to make her mad so I got up and walked into Mason's room.  "Damn boy, you got a loud mouth." I said lifting him out of his crib.  I mixed his baby formula and fed him a bottle before having to change his diaper again.  He had fallen asleep in my arms as I rocked him to sleep in the chair, so I brought him back into our room.  I sat him up on my legs and talked to him, giving him kisses and blowing on his stomach.  Mason giggled and squirmed around.  Soon Aliyah rolled over and smiled her gorgeous smile, "Good morning angel!" I exclaimed while Mas wrapped his hand around my index finger.  Aliyah sat up leaning her head on my shoulder, "Good morning boys." she'd say softly.  She ran her hand up and down my arm giving me goosebumps.  I handed the baby off to her and kissed them both on the cheek.

In the living room, Squirt was pacing back and forth.  "Do you need to go out boy?" I asked him walking to the door.  He whimpered and lead me to the sofa where Jack laid stiffly.  "Aliyah!" I yelled in panic grabbing the phone from the kitchen.  She ran out with Mason, "What's wrong?" she asked worried.  "It's Jack, he's sick!" I said before shushing her to talk to the vet.  I grabbed Mason from her as she rushed to Jack's side.

---

I cried into Kian's chest after we returned home, he rubbed my back comfortingly.  "Baby, he's not in pain anymore." he whispered into my ear.  Jack heart had stopped on the car ride to the Veterinarian's office.  He was there for me through everything, he was my best-friend, and now he is gone.  I felt empty inside, I felt as if I had nothing.
