Chapter 7:Wake

*TWO DAYS LATER*
*Aliyah's POV*
I awoke trying to move from the uncomfortable position I was in. I let out a moan in frustration and pain. My hands ached, my ears rung, and familiar voices swarmed over me. When I opened my eyes a woman and man stood over me, tears ran down the woman's face. "Baby girl, it's your mom and dad!" she spoke soft and slowly, like I was an infant. After this had processed through my head, I noticed a certain someone was missing, "Kian, where's Kian?" I blurted out as my eyes searched my surroundings. "Calm down sweetheart, you'll hurt yourself." my father said sternly planting a kiss on my forehead. This pissed me off considering he hadn't even tried to make contact with me until now, "Get off, go get Kian now!" I screamed causing pain to shoot through my arm and legs. "I'll call him sweetie, just calm down." she replied in a comforting tone. My eyes got heavy again, causing me to go back to sleep.
*Kian's POV*
Aliyah's mom had called, saying that Aliyah woke up asking for me. My heart skipped a beat, as I ran into the hospital as fast as I could. Once on her floor, I ran down the hall and straight into her room. Mr. Hastmen gave me a hateful look as I walked into the room, catching my breath I brushed past him and towards my girlfriend sleeping on the uncomfortable looking bed. My hand reached for hers. As soon as my hands got to hers, her eyes shot open. You have no idea how amazing it was to see those gorgeous eyes. "Baby..." I interrupted her with the most passionate kiss I think I've ever given her. Her lips were still soft and gentle as I remembered them to be, my hands had found their way to her matted hair. I felt hot tears on my cheek as she pulled away, "It hurts babe." she spoke soft and sleepily. I gave her a soft Eskimo kiss, "I love you so much." I responded with no thought needed. "I love you too." I felt her hand move just the slightest. When I held it she squeezed it tight, like a hug she couldn't give.
The doctors said that telling her about Mason, shouldn't happen till she is about ready to go home. Everyday she'd ask about him, seeing her in such pain broke my heart. Today, now two weeks after she woke up, her parents have been hovering over her. "Why the hell are you guys here?" she finally said adjusting her position. I got up and left the room trying to keep in my laugh. She definitely has her personality back. While I was out in the hall, I decided to go and get her a Baja Blast from Taco Bell.
Once I got back she looked like she had been crying. "Babe what's wrong?" I asked softly sitting down in a chair next to her bed. She looked down and shook her head. By this time she was able to move around on her own again. "Aliyah come on don't shut me out" I pleaded with her while setting my hand on her thigh. Her eyes made contact with mine before she let tears fall from her eyes, "It's my fault." she whispered. I bounded to my feet and pulled her into me, "No baby, it was not your fault at all." I repeated over and over to her as she sobbed into my chest. "Kian we have nothing now." she said wiping her tears away. I shook my head, "We have each other." my voice trembled. "They're making me go back to Indiana." she replied looking at my expression change. "No they can't do that." my voice tone sounded frustrated, I stood up. Before she could respond I managed to say, "And your just going to let that happen?" I raged "your just going to leave me?" I ran my hand through my messy hair. She shivered, "Ki please don't get mad, I don't want to leave you babe, I love you!" her voice sounded scared. I laughed at her, "I love you so god damn much Aliyah. I haven't slept in three weeks and you think this is going to put me at ease. You don't want comfort while in the mourning process, fine. We'll deal with it on our own. I'm done with this shit. I'm tired of hurting you and I'm tired of getting hurt. I'm leaving and not coming back because that's what you basically are telling me to do." I said pissed off at the world and sad at the same time.
