Things started to get a little easier after four months of grieving. Today, Mason is officially six months old and he's growing faster than ever. Last week he started doing little push ups on his belly, the beginning stage to crawling. Kian and I are fight less due to, I guess, the maturity you gain when becoming a parent. Every day I can't help but be happy that Kian and I are together, with a beautiful family.
"Babe, can we get Jenn to watch Mason tonight?" Kian asked as he straddled me on the couch. I smirked at him, "I bet we can work something out, Ki" I replied pecking his lips softly. His eyes fluttered and his lips hungrily sucked on mine. The baby cooed on the playmate, causing us to end our little make-out session. I playfully pushed him off of me, and crawled down onto the floor to play with my son. He giggled as I talked to him in my baby-voice and tickled him. Kian joined us on the floor and pulled us both into his lap. "I love you." he said kissing me on the temple. A smiled spread across my face. I didn't know it was possible to love someone so much, until I met this boy. "I love you too." I said placing my hand on his leg.
At about twelve, I was showered and dressed. "I'm going to call Jenn now." pulling out my phone I scrolled through my contacts.
"Hey Jenn!" I said excitedly.
"Hey girl! How's things?" she asked just as excited as me.
"Great, I'm doing better I think." I replied softly, as my mind lingered.
"Good." she said trying to be positive.
"So I was wondering if you could watch Mason tonight." I asked on a brighter note.
"Of course, see you then!" she said before tapping the 'End Call' button.

After getting Mason packed and ready to go I loaded up the car. "See you soon, babe." I said brightly kissing Kian on the lips. Slowly, letting go of my waist he smiled, "Love you." I smiled and recited the three words back, for what would be the last time for a while.
