"Shinku..."
In an instant, the Hachibi was gone, and the devastated forest he was fighting in just a moment ago vanished, leaving only a dark void.
"Hmm. It's about time you made it here."
Shinku's heart froze at the terrifying pressure that passed over him when the voice spoke. It seemed so familiar to him, but also so distant.
"..."
"Open your eyes, idiot."
The voice spoke, and Shinku's eyes were forced open.
Standing in a luscious green field, with a river flowing through it. Foreign flora sprouted all around him and gave off a strong aroma.
Looking around, Shinku's gaze landed on the old Japanese mansion in the distance with a black wall surrounding it.
"Where am i?"
Shinku asked but received no reply. The thought of an illusion crossed his mind but doubted that that was the case.
"Who are you?"
Still no answer from the voice he heard earlier, but the grass soon began to part, forming a pathway toward the mansion's gate.
"You want me to head that way?"
Even without receiving a response, Shinku followed the path. Passing the river filled with what looked like hundreds of unknown fish with a few known.
The scenery was definitely beautiful, with thousands of little insects and critters. Though Shinku didn't pay them any mind, staying on guard against whatever is lying ahead in the suspicious mansion.
Approaching the gate, Shinku was about to 'what's next' when the gate opened itself, letting Shinku in.
"Welcome to the compound."
The voice from before rang out as Shinku stepped through the gate. His attention was soon drawn to the four figures sitting at an old wooden table with a game of go.
A very familiar woman with light red hair tied into a braid. Golden irises and a curvaceous figure. The only difference between her and the woman he was recalling was the significant age difference as this woman looked more mature in her late twenties wearing a red kimono with the Uzumaki crest in both of the sleeves.
'Akame?'
To her left was a fairly short woman with long, raven black hair, light purple eyes, and a modest figure. She had a black chocker around her neck and wore a dark purple dress, black stockings, and a red sweater.
'???'
And to her left, sat a man that made Shinku's blood truly run cold and his hands to tremble.
A man that looks almost exactly like him with an older appearance. Snow white Afro, black sclera eyes, crimson irises, and a white pupil. Pale brown skin, almost like life, has been sucked from him. A muscular frame covered by bulky samurai armor.
'Is that... me?'
Finally, the final figure exuded a suffocating aura unconsciously, forcing Shinku to kneel the moment he looked at him.
Just like the last figure, he was almost a spitting image of an older Shinku. With a jet black afro, crimson red eyes, Tawny Brown skin, and a muscular frame. Wearing a simple white Kimono, the too hung back, only covering his waist down.
"You're late."
The final figure spoke, not taking his eyes off of the game of Go between the pale looking version of himself and the Akame lookalike.
