Pip's perspective
I felt a hand shaking me awake again. Opening my eyes, it felt as if the room was spinning. Damien was sitting next to me with a cup of tea and a plate with waffles. "Good morning, Pip" He greeted me.
"Good morning" I rubbed my eyes. The scent of cinnamon tea was enough to help wake me up a bit. "I made breakfast for you" Damien handed me the tea cup and the plate. "It looks delicious. Thank you" I smiled at him before taking a bite of my waffles. They really were delicious. They were cooked perfectly, and he added just the right amount of syrup. I washed it down with a sip of tea.
"You like it?" Damien tilted his head. I nodded in response.
"Good, I'm glad" He chuckled. His eyes seemed a sparkle a bit- something I'd never seen before, but it looked quite lovely. "Are you feeling any better after last night?" Damien's expression faded into a more serious one. I wasn't quite sure if he was asking about the dream I had or the dizziness I felt, but I imagined he probably meant both. "Mhm. I'm still a bit tired, but I'm alright"
"Good" Damien spoke in relief. "So, do you know if you wanna start going back to school yet?"
I haven't really thought about it yet. I mean, I didn't think I would mind, as long as no one tried to hurt me like they used to. I remembered so many events where my classmates hurt me just because they could. I never caused any harm to them.. at least, I never meant to. Eric Cartman hurt so many people without any particular reason, so I never really took it personally when it was him. "I suppose it could be worth trying"
"Alright" Damien yawned and laid back down. "Will you be there as well?" Glancing at him, I took another bite of my waffles. He simply shrugged. "Yeah, I have no reason not to"
That made me feel a bit more relieved. It was nice to know I would have someone there for me in case I needed them. After I finished my waffles and tea, I laid back down and gazed up at the ceiling. Damien picked up his phone and put on classic rock music.
