Tobias's POV
I take a seat at the back of the auditorium. Ms. Trinket, the drama teacher is holding the main auditions, and trust me, you do not want to be on the wrong side of that woman. Katniss, Christina, Tris, Uriah, and a few others are gathering up on stage, presumably getting ready to do their audition.
I notice Clove is their too, that's strange considering she has stage fright. Ms. Trinket is telling something to them all, but I can't hear her. Clove is staring at the back, that is until Christina drags her out to the front. Clove is yelling at Christina, but Christina is smiling. I wonder what they're talking about.
Clove's POV
I can't believe Christina put my name down for a main part, when I specifically told her not to. Uhhh! I hate that girl so much!
Christina drags me out to the front of the stage, I feel my cheeks heat up, I swallow hurriedly. There's not many people in the audience, but all of our group has come, and to tell you the truth, I would be comfortable singing in front of people I don't know rather than people I do.
Ms. Trinket clears her throat, getting everyone's attention. We stand there waiting for her to talk.
When she finally does, she says it with her motherly smile.
"Those of you here will be presumably trying out for a main role! As you all know we will be doing a musical of Wizard of Oz, but the catch is, we will be twisting the story to make a love story."
A love story? Oh no. I did sign up for this, well technically Christina signed me up, but that is not the point.
Ms. Trinket interrupts the loud chatter.
"Alright, first we'll be holding auditions for Dorothy, the princess in our twisted story. Everyone who would like to be Dorothy please step to the front of the stage, so we can hold auditions."
Glimmer and Katniss step forward. Another girl called Delly also steps forward. Christina pushes me forward and nerves overcome me.
