Katniss' POV

"Alright everyone!" Mrs Rafferty claps twice to get the attention of everyone. The loud chatter slowly dies away and Mrs Rafferty clears her throat.

"Alright children, we have 5 weeks to perfect this play, and I want absolute concentration."

I fidget in my seat, this is not the kind of play I want to be a part of, of course I don't want to kiss Cato, I mean who would. The real thing that bothers me is that I'll have to do in front of all my classmates.

"Hey Katniss!" Peeta takes a seat next to me. I smile, while my insides turn to ice. I didn't Peeta was doing this musical. I take a glance in his direction, he's watching Mrs. Rafferty with intent concentration. I don't mean to keep staring at him, but I can't stop. Mrs. Rafferty clears her throat, and I wake up from the daze I was in. Everyone is staring at me, including Peeta. What did I do? Was it clear I wasn't listening? Mrs. Rafferty saves me after a few more embarrassing moments.

"Miss Everdeen, as I'm sure you weren't listening, I have asked you to take your place on stage for the first scene. Chop chop, lets go, hurry up!"

I get to my feet and hurry to the stage, where all the other mains are. I listen nonchalantly as Mrs. Rafferty gives a preview of the scene we're about to practise.

After a long two hour practise of most of the songs and scenes (thankfully not the love scene), I go home and I'm surprised to see Prim sitting on the kitchen counter sobbing her eyes out.

"Prim, sweetie, what's the matter."

Prim waved her hand towards our mother who I hadn't noticed was standing only a few feet away,

"What's happened to Prim?" I ask suspiciously.

My mother sighed, "She's upset because I told her we're moving to New York."

What? We're moving?
