DAY 3, The city of events, 5:32 AM

Everyone was lined up in three queues to make it quick for the choppers they were already hearing in the air to pull them. All of them were weak but except for the 6 government officials others were flying staff and Raghav knew they would be familiar with such rescue operations so such a situation would not be tough for them. For the gov. officials, they were going to risk the landing of one of the choppers.

The first priority was the hostages so they had decided to let the locals stay in the basement, they were not in any kind of danger, the danger was hovering over soldiers and the hostages.

"Soldier! can I use the washroom?" one of the pilots of the hostages who seemed in his mid-40s walked towards Kanishk/Ved.

"not more than a minute?" Ved said busy copying the data from the laptop they have grabbed in the main room of the basement, Raghav believed even if these people claimed they were locals which they were, a mission involved collecting and erasing as much evidence as they can.

Surrounded by two other soldiers who guarded the area Ved was busy copying the data from the laptops and other devices.

"Lucifer and Falcon, keep your eyes on Kanishk's back we are starting the evacuation," Roosevelt announced.

"Guys, follow us," he ordered to the hostages and the queues moved towards the exit of the basement.

Pallavi was already biting her lips to the pain that was making an appearance at an interval of 2 to 3 minutes.

DAY 3, The city of events 5:38 AM,

Almost 70 percent of the hostages were already inside the choppers leaving only the captains of the respective flights on the ground (because they believed in others first ) when Raghav's team heard a faint and strange noise of planes in the air.

The enemies were here and in full force, another nerve-raising moment wanted all of their war tactics working in full force.

"Take away all three choppers from the air..." He ordered into his microphone.

"what are you doing, Garud? If they leave right now they won't be able to come by for a few hours, we are almost done let them hover over the area for some time...

"did you see the MANPADs you are holding right now, it won't take them even a moment to destroy any kind of flying object in the air and I am sure a lot of top tech weapons are being used here which we don't even know about so it's better for our choppers to leave the area for now, am I clear?" Raghav asked the boys behind him and the boys in the air handling the choppers.

"Yes, Boss." He heard a unison in the voice.

"Pilots?" moving his gaze towards the Indian pilots Roosevelt spoke. " How about the evacuation is delayed for some time? I request all of you to move inside the bunker we are expecting guns and absolutely not roses here." Roosevelt tried to smear the words with humor but seeing the ghastly looks on the five people standing in front of him he knew he had failed.

The pain Pallavi was feeling for the last one hour often made its appearance in the most unimaginable moments, with time and experience she now had an idea whenever her schedule tempered she felt the most painful shots of them. After hearing the polish soldier's words she filled her mouth with cold air from the dark surroundings and started calming herself.

"what do you think is going to happen now, Captain?" Madhulika had decided to stay back with Pallavi when the soldiers had announced not all of them would be able to fly back.
