what a coincidence as we enter 2024 we have chapter 2.24...haha

She should not sneak into someone's private moments but she could not help it, the couple just a few metres away from her were so much into themselves that if someone ambushed them they would never get to know and that was the problem with this most beautiful feeling of the world called LOVE, a person often got lost in someone's mortal presence that they forgot there was an immortal world ready and waiting for the people to commit a single mistake.

This was her perfect opportunity to make this serene evening of them all of hers but she was not that cruel and she was perfectly aware of the timing everything was bound to. For now, she has to act efficiently to ensure her baby's safety and well-being.

The night jasmines were thrown lushly in the air, the moon though hidden behind the clouds was spreading the white glow in the otherwise darkness and she was with him... it felt complete, , the world outside might be chaotic, dangerous as well as she witnessed in the past but she was afraid of none in this very moment. His frequent absences were perhaps the reason she sometimes craved for him or maybe the hormones were playing the trick, she felt a tear escape her eyes and then another and no matter how hard she tried the big tears kept flowing and wetting his kurta and seeped to his skin letting him know about their not so unexpected but uninvited arrival.

"Aye , Saree ka dukan ..." he tried to take a glimpse of her but she tightened the hug not wanting to leave him as if she would leave even an inch and something would happen.

"Kuch nahi..." she assured him.

"ye silk kurta hai," he teased her knowing they needed a light moment.

"Haan to ..." she replied back and then sniffed loudly.

"anshu tak theek hai ab tumhari naak..." he laughed inwardly.

"bas ho gaya Ghamndi Rao... jao ..." she tried to break the hug and together they heard the rustling not so far away from them.

"Raghav ...what was that." they had both heard the crunching of the leaves and then the rushed flutter of clothes as if someone moved hurriedly.

"Pallavi... tum andar jao," he told her breaking the hug, his eyes and attention to his left from where they had heard the noise.

"Raghav... let it be, maybe it is just a local man." she tried to stop him.

"and enjoying a romantic movie going here..." he had by now pulled his phone from his salwar's pocket.

"Raghav, Pallavi... come inside, dinner is ready Bhai...continue your movie at RR mansion," this was Sulochana kaku's voice mixed with taunt or sarcasm Pallavi didn't really distinguish but thanked her anyway for she had distracted Raghav.

"haa Kaku...we will be there." Pallavi replied to her and then nudged Raghav to stop looking here and there. " there is no one Raghav...please let us just go inside."

"Hmm...even if somewhere was there they ran somewhere when Bada Bindi shouted like that." He took a last glance at the surroundings and made a note to himself to call the officials for the lack of street lights in the small path leading to Pallavi's home.

"She didn't shout ..." Pallavi defended Sulochna as they made their way to the house.

"And I am deaf..." Raghav commented typing something on his phone before he slid it back to his pocket. It took her no time to understand what it was when she saw Farhad passing them and smiling curtly at her when they entered the house.

"Take Ajit with you as well..." Raghav ordered and Pallavi knew this was the reason Danger thought twice about touching him, he was just too careful with everything especially after the attack on her a couple of years ago.
