Her face was ashen, charred brutally, to say she terrified her would not be wrong but it was just a glimpse and in the next moment, she tapped the window.

The same soft tap she had heard nearly an hour back or it was just a few minutes, her head started spinning and she could no longer understand what was true and what was false.

But the lady tapped again and Raghav turned to face her after staring for a few seconds in the direction of the fort waiting for the lady or for them.

To her relief, he walked to her side and the lady walked away.

"What happened to you, you look disturbed." he touched her hands and she felt how cold she was when his palm seemed warm to her.

All of a sudden she felt warm, the jacket felt unnecessary and she took it off.

"i think she is afraid someone would attack her there as well so she doesn't want to go inside... come out we can accompany her to the place," he suggested and Pallavi collected her body close to her.

"I...I don't think... I think we should leave now." she fumbled profusely, even completing the sentence felt a big burden.

"are you okay? You look sick." he leaned at her and untied the seat belt and pulled her out.

"have the fresh air for a while...you'll feel better," he told her as he caressed her back to relieve her body.

"tumi majhya ghari aeu sakata...". they heard the lady's sweet voice. (you can come to my place.).

"Sorry." he turned to her and the unknown language confused her but Pallavi's ears turned up on her mixed words.

She was inviting them to her house or whatever it was.

"Raghav, let's go ... she can go her home now, we have helped her enough," she told him urgently.

"Mi vinati karato..." her voice was humblest. (i request you guys).

"What is she saying, I think it is your language," he asked Pallavi not looking at the woman.

"she says we should leave, this place is not safe." she lied afraid of what could happen if they didn't leave the place in the next few minutes.

"Mala tumachi baju parat kraychi ahe." the lady in veil touched her arm and requested Pallavi. (i want to return your favor, please come).

She jerked away from her hand from the lady and was about to open the door of the car when a sharp pain shot her whole belly.

It was unbearable and if she was right she felt some dripping between her thighs.

"What happened, are you alright?" Raghav ran to her and supported her body which was collapsing on its own.

"e jangal me tu aani balak suraksita nahisa." the veiled lady touched her arm swaying out of Raghav's grip. (You and your baby are not safe in this forest).

"her baby... they didn't plan one, it was not possible or was it... when was her last date..." a few questions ran her mind and without thinking anything else she looked up at him and said

"take me to her house, I think I am not well."

_____________*___________

The big palace-like house was lit on the upper floors but there was not a single lamp on the ground floor, the lady was quite familiar with her place and walked swiftly.

"i am fine you can put me down," Pallavi told him as they passed the garden and the lady stopped.

Pallavi could not see an entrance to the house, it was a dark house with no sound but the lit floors suggested there was someone on the upper floor.
