"I settled upon Talisman" Her careful appraising eye,
fixed at the fleeting sky.
Secret sweeter than Sun or Moon could whisper,
escaped her tight lips.
The depth and passion of her earnest glance,
spoke louder than any word.
Her crescent feelings were clarious to naked eyes;
as he had enchanted the ugly.
Summers turned to fall,
as few tears came to soften her seared vision.
The moons and stars were testament to her love,
as she whispered promises;
that she would always have her heart,
reserved for one.
Her lukewarm and selfish love,
knew no boundless sky.
But her existence cried,
as she broods for the man,
who will never know of her love.
As he is sky, she is the earth.
A great pang gripped her heart,
as she broke her own red into pieces.
She kept her feelings locked in-depth,
Never durst to let them wander.
