I woke the next morning as the sun crept thought my window. I turned in my bed to shield my eyed form the bright light wanting nothing more then to drift back into dream land.
"Reese" Dad calls from the other side of my door
"Mmm" I moan loudly
"Come on baby get up, today's the day"
"I don't wanna go to school" I grumble
I hear him sinker a laugh
"Reese you're leaving today remember"
I set up, holy fuck. last nights events play in my head. Did all that really happen or was it just a dream.
"Reese" Dad called again
"Yeah, I..I'm up" I shudder
"Will get your butt ready"
"OK Daddy"
I push the blankets off of me and throw my feet over the bed jumping up. I run to the bathroom to wash my face, then going to my closet I find a pair of jeans and tank top.
After I dressed and slipped a pair of flip flops on I step out to met face to face with my father and brothers.
"Will, you things ready" Daddy asked
"Yes sir"
"Are you sure about this Ryland"
I will be going to live with my brother Ryland until I get up on my own feet.
"Yes, we'll have lots of fun" Ry tells him
"Alright come on boys help your sister with her shit" Dad says
About an hour or so later they are all standing beside Ryland's car, with long lost faces on them.
"Don't be a stranger" daddy tells me
I smile
"I won't"
"Take care of your sister" he tells Ry
"Always"
I hug daddy's neck
"Alpha" Caleb says
My brothers looking down, daddy releases me and does the same. I look at the man that I once respected.
"Reese" He says, his gray eyes on me
"Zion" I just about spit
"Reese" Daddy scolds me
"I forgot to give you, your present last night" Zion tells me
"Isn't that nice Reese he got you a gift" Daddy says
"I don't want it" I snip
"Reese" Dad turns to me his voice a modest whisper "Take it"
I smile at daddy
"Thank you Alpha" I say looking back at him for my families sake
He smiles
"You're welcome, please wait to open it when you get to your new home." Zion says
He hands me a small whipped box, his fingers glazing over mine. I jerk my hand back as fast as I can.
"Have a safe ride" He turns leaving us
"Reese what was that" Dad scolds when Zion is out of sight
"He just upset me that's all" I tell him
Daddy looks at me for the longest
