Familiar Face

After we returned from my fathers I did not speak of Zion or what he had said to me. And I did not say anything about the pup's, I cried a couple of tears the first night back but that was it. I knew that they where in a happy home and Nan would take care of them and love them.

It was a Friday and I was doing so house cleaning. At that moment I was standing in a chair on my toes to reach the top of the cabinets in the kitchen. My bare feet where barely on the edge of wooden furniture.

I wore a pair of daisy dukes and a tank top that showed my mid-drift as I cleaned.

"Reese"

The chair slips out from under me and I am landing in a pair of big muscular arms. I look up into his blue eyes.

"Don't do that" I snip

"Sorry are you alright"

"Fine"

His hungry eyes wash over my body.

"Good, go get dressed" Ran tells me

"Way"

"We're going out"

"Way"

"Do I have to have a reason to take my girl out"

I smile

"No"

"GO. GET. DRESSED" he pronounced every word

"You have to let me down fist"

"What the fuck where you doing any ways" he ask setting me on my feet

"Cleaning the cabinets"

With an eye roll he swats my ass

"Go get dressed" he tells me again

I head toward our room,

Grabbing a purple sleeveless dress that came to my mid-thighs out of the closet I head to the bathroom for a shower. I hoped we wasn't going anywhere to nice because I wasn't dressing for it. After my shower I dressed than brushed my hair out leaving it down and straight. Pulling on a pair of flip flops I head to the living room were a clean Ransom waits for me. He wears a pair of dark blue jeans and a white tee that fits him good. His hair is a sexy mess on top his head.

"Read" he asked his eyes raking over me

"Yes"

He takes my hand leading me out.

"Are you going to tell me where we are going" I ask as we get into his car

"A friend of mine that I work with just opened a club. He invited us to come tonight"

"We're going dancing" I sing

"Yes" he smiles

"YES" I yell out with joy

Ran laughs at me

"Don't laugh I love dancing"

"I know you do" he smiles

I talk his head off the whole raid there, when we pull to a stop in front of a huge building I grow quiet. I look at the building in front of me, with a sing that read Nightshade.

Getting out Ran comes around to get me, I take his hand and let him lead me to the long line that leads to the front door.

We can hear the music pumping already from where we stand. My body starts moving as we wait.

A group of guys come up behind us and Ran pulls me closer to him.

"Hi" I smile up at him as I move against him
