A New Start

It has been six weeks since we have left the pack. I have been busy adjusting to my new life. The changes in my life and in my own body. I don't think Ry can tell yet at lest I hope he can't. But I can, I feel them inside of me growing. Six weeks isn't that far along for a human but for us it is. Though I don't show yet, I know it want be long before I start. I have called Zion and told him that he got what he wanted. He of course was excited, and I wounder how he was going to tell Nan about this.

"Reese" I hear Ry call my name "Reese wake up"

My eyes open his above me looking down with worried eyed.

"What is it Ry" I ask my voice horse

"Your wolf she has been crying out at night" he tells me

I set up grinding the sleep out of my eyes

"It's just bad dreams"

"Are you feeling alright Reese, is there something wrong"

he sets on the edge of my bed, I smile at him

"No I'm fine"

"You smell different"

Oh no, I have to do something soon

"Maybe its because I'm older now"

"Maybe, you look different too. Are you hungry" he ask and I'm glad

"Yes"

"I'll fix you breakfast" he stands "Get dressed and don't take all day about it"

"Bossy"

"What was that" he ask

"I love you and thank you for being so kind to me"

He smiles

"See you down stairs"

I smile back, as he leaves I lay back down on my bed. What am I going to do he know's something not right. I need a job and fast. I pick up the phone that Zion gave me and dill his number.

"Hello" he answers

"Ry is worried about me"

"Why would he be"

"He senses the baby and he says I look different"

"Will do something about it"

"Why don't you do something about it Zion. Your the one that got me into this mess" I just about shout at him

"Calm down Reese" he snips

I take a deep breath

"I am doing everything I can do so no one will find out I am pregnant with your child. You can at lest help me out here Zion" I say though my teeth

"What the fuck do you expect of me Reese I am five miles away from you"

"You know what fuck you, I'm sorry I called you. It's clear to me that all you want is to know is when they get here"

"Don't get any funny idea's Reese"

"Don't worry Zion I don't want any part of you"

"Ouch baby that hurts"

"You fucking raped me you asshole"

"Maybe I need to come down and remind you how good it was" he tells me and I hear his smile

I don't say anything, just hang the phone up. I head to the bathroom to clean up then head down to eat.

Ryland is seated at the table when I get down.
