Y/n's POV
"Y/n, please! Just one date! And if you don't like it, I'll leave you alone for the rest of my life."

I sighed for what felt like the millionth time today, "Travis, I have told you how many times now? No. I don't want to go on a date with you. Not after..." I trailed off after remembering what happened with my last relationship.

Travis stopped walking behind me, stood in front of me, and said (with a serious tone might I add), "Y/n, I swear on the river styx that if you be my girlfriend, I won't treat you like Jackson did. Heck, I'll be a better boyfriend than he ever was! Just.... Give it a thought?"

I caved, "Fine. BUT, you have to prove that you won't cheat like Jackson did."

He grinned, and I was already starting to regret my decision. "I will Y/n. You can count on me!" Before walking away, he grabbed my hands, and kissed my cheek.

He walked away, while I was stuck where I was, blushing.

Travis POV
I was just thinking about how I was going to show Y/n that I was better than Jackson, when I walked past the Apollo cabin and got an idea.

I walked in, and started to talk to Y/n's best friend, Haily. "Hey Haily?"

She turned around, "Yes, Travis?"

"So, I asked Y/n out, and she said that she'll be my girlfriend. But, I have to prove that I won't treat her like Jackson. What should I do?"

She thought for a second. Then her face lot up. "I have got the PERFECT idea! Quick question though, can you sing?"

I scoffed, "Of course I can sing! See watch," I started to sing Butter by BTS (sorry guys, I have it stuck in my head...)

By the time I was done singing the song, Haily looked awestruck. Then, she started slowly clapping. "Travis, how come I never knew that you could sing so well?"

I blushed, "I don't really like to tell people..."

"Well, you're going to have to show people that you can sing for my plan to work." She walked over to her bunk, and grabbed a piece of paper. "This, are the lyrics to one of Y/n's favorite songs. I printed them in case Jackson wanted to impress her, but he never asked for them. I was just about to throw them away, but turns out that you'll need them!" She handed me the sheet, " I need you to practice singing this song. I'll also need to hear you sing it before dinner."

I took a look at the lyrics. Good. I thought. This won't be as hard a I thought it was going to be.... "Uh, what is your plan exactly?"

She sighed, "Honestly, how are you so dim? Okay, the plan is to have you sing this song to her at the campfire. Got it?"

Suddenly confident, I replied, "Yeah. This'll be a walk in the park!"

She smirked, "You know, considering we're demigods, a walk in the park isn't as easy as it seams... Anyway, there's only three hours left until dinner. You better start practicing!"

I cursed in ancient greek, said thanks, and ran off to the strawberry fields to practice singing.

Time Skip (the campfire)~~
Y/n's POV
I was sitting with my best friend, Haily, when she got up, and went to the front to make an announcement. "So, tonight we have someone to come up here and sing a song for a little someone special."

She came back to sit down with me, while I noticed that Travis got up and took her place in stage. "Hey guys! So, like Haily said, I'm going to sing to someone I really want to impress, and I hope she likes it." He looked me in the eye, and I looked down, blushing and smile at the same time. He really is different.

He took a deep breath, and started singing. Wait...that's my favorite song... How do he find out...?

(I would put the lyrics to the song, but I honestly can't remember them..)

As he was finishing up the song, he started to walk towards me. As he walked, I saw that the other campers started to move out of his way so he could walk to me without tripping over anyone.

When he was singing the last few lyrics, he looked into my eyes, and grabbed my hand. When he finished singing, he said, "Have I proved that I'm better than Jackson?"

I smiled, look ing in his eyes, and kissed him. I know what you're thinking. Y/n! You don't like him that way! Why would you kiss him?

Well, the truth is, I have liked him for a awhile now, and just didn't want to admit it.

We pulled apart after a few seconds, and everyone started to cheer for us. I was staring in his eyes (once again), when next thing I know, someone hugged us. Surprise! It's Haily. "I told you it would work, Travis!"

I chuckled, "I should've know this was all your idea."

I stopped staring at Travis, and turned to my best friend. "Thanks for telling him what to do, Hays."

She flipped her hair over her shoulder, "They don't call me the match maker for no reason!"

We laughed, and sat back down. Travis and I were holding hands for the remainder of the campfire.

A/n
Okay, I don't really know where I got this idea. All I know is I was listening to MKTO one minute, and the next, I'm writing this... I choose not to question it.

I now you guys liked it, and I have something to say. I might not be updating again this month. I'm sorry, but like I said in the last oneshot, I have to take STAAR, and if I'm being completely honest, I'm stressed. I only have like 16 more days until I take it.

So, like I said, might not update again this month.
