always and forever (Apollo)

Two things. One, I'M BACK PEEPS! Two, (this might confuse you) Apollo is your dad in this one, not you boyfriend.

ONTO THE STORY!!!

*You were sleeping, when you woke up in the camp infirmary*

Woah. I thought. This doesn't look like the hospital.... Where am I..?

I heard a chuckle, "You, my daughter, are at camp half blood. To be more specific, you are in the infirmary."

I looked to where the voice came from, and only saw a guy that made the whole room light up. "Uhm.... Two things, first, WHO ARE YOU, AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN DAUGHTER!? Secondly, what on this great earth is camp half blood?"

"That's three things by the way. And I'll only answer the 'who are you' part." He cleared his throat, and said in an overly dramatic voice, "I am the God Apollo. God of archery, poetry, medicine, music... And what was the last thing..... (I honestly forgot...) Ah, right! And the god of the future (just go with it)

I started laughing, "Y-you're crazy! There's no such thing as the Greek gods! They went extent years ago!"

He frowned, "the correct term is 'fade'. Not, 'went extent'. Besides, we gods can't die. It's impossible."

"Sheesh. Sorry, I didn't study Greek mythology in kindergarten. Also, why won't you answer my other questions? I need answers too, you know."

He sighed, "Y/n, as much as I want to tell you, I really shouldn't be here in the first place."

"Then why are you? You were never there for mom and I. You left is to fend for ourselves. You weren't even there when I ran away when I was six. If I didn't need you then, I most definitely don't need you now."

He looked at me with some kind of emotion in his eyes. Was that....pity? Guilt? "Y/n..... I wanted to come to you both. Believe me, I did. I just...."

I started to get mad. Was this guy really going to try to make up an excuse as to why he was absent my whole life? Heck to the no. "You what, huh? Too busy doing 'godly chores'? Is that what it is? You where too busy to at least make up some time to come see your family?"

He looked close to tears at this point, "No. That's not it"

I too, was close to crying, "Then what is it? You just didn't want me? Was I never good enough for you?"

"NO! You are perfect! I just can't show favoritism! You don't understand half of what I'm going through!"

I stood up off the bed, and immediately started to feel dizzy. The gods eyes softened, "Y/n, you need to stay on bed rest for a while. You lost so much blood, you could've died. Even I almost failed."

I frowned, "what is 'even I almost failed' supposed to mean?"

"it means.... I almost lost you.... You almost died"

Once he put me one the bed, I rolled over on me side, facing the wall. "Just go away." I murmured , "I want to be left alone."

I felt a dip in the bed, signaling that he sat down beside me, "I'll leave. But first, I want to give you something."

Once he said those words, I rolled over to face him. "What is it?"

He did in his pocket, and pulled out a golden chain with a sun charm. "This. Whenever you need me, just hold the sun, and think of the sun. Then, I will appear."

For the first time in what felt like days, I smiled. "Thank you.... Dad."

He smiled, got up, and said sadly, "I guess it's time for me to go. Good luck Y/n."

He started to turn and walk away, when I grabbed his wrist. "Wait..."

He looked at me, his eyebrows raised, "Yes?"

I looked him in the eyes, smiling, "Thank you."

After I said that, I hugged him, as hard a I could. For a few seconds, he seemed taken aback, but quickly responded, hugging me back.

"Y/n, I want you to always remember, even though I can't show it all that well, I love you more than you will ever know."

"I love you too, Dad."

He ended up staying just a little longer, until deciding that I need to get some rest. "Dad, will you always be there when I need you?"

He smiled, "Of course, Y/n. Always and forever" and with that, he left.
