I turned on the radio and turned off the street, I didn't know were I would end up going all I knew was I just couldn't stay "home".
Before I'd knew it, I took the road down to Billy's neighborhood and I'd knew exactly were I'd be going. I pulled onto the side of the road infront of his house.
I turned off the car and got out, walking up the small sidewalk onto the porch steps. I knocked on the door and was met by Max.
She just moved her arm from the doorframe to let me in and walked off. Billy's room was down a long hallway right from the front door.
Music was playing from his room and just knocked on his door. I could here him sigh, before opening up the door, his face was as still as could be. But once he saw who it truly was he had lightened up a bit.
See Milye didn't know it but Billy waited in a dead parking lot, intill Milye had token off onto a road. He followed her to her house just to make sure she'd be alright, he'd saw her bring the bags into her car so he already knew how there conversation would go, he just had to play it off enough, and lie enough to get himself to look more caring.
Billy was already on edge and he was upset with her for going back home.
"You think I could stay here for a few days.." I asked awkwardly. "Yeah, don't even worry about it, you want me to help you with the bags-
"Bags? How'd you know I would have bags?"
"I'm assuming you got clothes from wherever house you've been staying at?" Billy tried to convince her, but she wasn't fully convinced.
Milye dropped it and sat down in the red chair in his room she once did before. "Yeah I've got bags, I shouldn't need them all I can go get them, it what I can do if I can stay here don't worry about it" Milye rambled but Billy just shook his head and laughed.
"Surely you haven't forgotten me that much? I'll go get them stay put" he laughed again and walked out of the room.
Milye didn't listen, she hadn't stayed out and she walked around in the room. Seeing a mirror and a small desk beside of it. Beholding a small pack of camals with only two cigarettes left in it, and some sort of cologne. Left from the mirror was a poster of a woman in a bikini. I laughed a little making my way over towards the other side of the room.
His dresser had things all over it magazine, un-hung band posters and unfolded clothes. On the wall of his dresser showed pictures of him, back in California I was guessing.
It looked so much more nicer, and cleaner. I smiled looking over a picture of Billy, holding a surf board way bigger than he was and a woman in white right beside of use. She had long blonde hair, and she had a big white sun hat over her.
She was holding onto Billy by his shoulders crouching down so they were both the same height.
She put two and two together and it was Billy's mother. He looked a lot like her. There eyes were the same and there smile was one.
She looked over the picture a little longer and then moved onto the next photo, the last one hung up. Was him and one of his friends in the passenger seat of his car.
The guy had blonde hair and was smoking a cigarette. This picture had of been token recently, Billy looked the same he just lost his California tan.
Billy was smoking a cigarette also, Milye didn't get to look at the picture once more because Billy had walked back in. With all of the bags in his hands.
She quickly rushed over towards his smiling at him trying to balance all six bags. "I've got it, I've got it" he said unconvincingly, dropping one bag. I laughed out loud now.
"I told you I'd only need about two!" I smiled at him once he put the rest of them on his bag. I picked up the one he dropped and put it on his bed also.
"Well it was better off just bringing them all In because I didn't know exactly which one you wanted. I nodded my head and looked up at him.
Billy knew he wanted to know why she wet home. Why would she put herself in that much danger?
He knew she didn't need only two. She'd stay way more than a couple of days and he hadn't mind at all. To be honest he felt a lot better with himself knowing that she'd still run to him if she had any problems.
Billy walked over towards his closet and opening it. Scooting down in close so I would have enough room to hang up some cloths. He made some room in the floor also, scooting away the mess he had made and making room for atleast a pair of shoes.
I smiled at him once he turned towards me again. He took one bag and dumped ig on his bed. "You'll have to keep somethings in the bags but atleast have some in the closet" he said grabbing some hangers.
"Your being awfully nice? It's scaring me a little?" I said eying him.
He laughed a little and just shrugged. "It's not uncommon for me to be nice to people I genuinely care for?"
I nodded my head smiling. "What had happened at the basketball game?" I asked him putting some cloths on hangers as I'd go.
"Steve, found out you had forgave me and started a seen in the Lockeroom first, we had gotten at it for a little, it's all good now.." Billy lied.
Milye once more fell for it all and just nodded her head.
