Chapter 17

Kongpob's POV

Note: This is Kongpob's side of story after chapter 13..

We have exactly one week left for exams and three weeks for deliver assignments to clients beside that I've to figure out what P'Deer wants from posting that picture on fb and what I am doing..
I am sitting here at my home and listening my family talking everything beside the topic for which I got call at late night yesterday saying 'they wanted to talk and come home tomorrow.'
Seriously I want them to talk before my patience runs out..

"So Kong what I wanted to talk with you is.." Finally my father talked, "about your marriage.."
"What?" I shouted. I hope it looked natural and not like I am acting.
"Yeah, we wanted you to get married." My mother said.
"But I am still studying..." I really hope I am not doing overacting.
"It's not problem. Beside dad have someone who will be good match for you." Mom said in soft and sweet tone.
"Oh no no I have already a girlfriend and I am not going to marry anyone this early." I tried to say in stern voice.

"Anyone? Even if that person is your own bestfriend?" My older sister Sara said.
"What do you mean by that? Whom are you referring?" I said bitterly. I don't like how curtly she referred bestfriend word.
"Before we tell you name, I wanted you to take a look at this." My father slid file infront of me. I took and opened it. My eyes went wide as I saw P'Arthit's health check up reports and reports regarding his special case..

I got angry. I slammed file on table and asked, "What is meaning of this?"
"Easy there boy.. You see your bestfriend is kinda weird thing." I clenched my fist hearing that."But as he is your bestfriend and also his father is good man, so dad decided that he is good option for you.." My sister Kat said..
"I will not.." I was shouting but my father cut me off and said, "You have time till your exams end. Next morning either you agree or these reports will be all over social media.. I heard that he gets panic attacks when things go wrong.. so decide what you want to do.."

When my father finished talking, I walked towards exit but then again my father spoke, "His family had already agreed so if you deny not only that poor boy suffer emotionally but physically and economically also.."
When I confirmed he is done talking I rushed out and drove towards my dorm.

When I reached dorm, I just slept as I was too much exhausted past week after that photo thing. I had too much work in my plate. Studies, project, then helping P'Arthit with his studies actually this one was rather gave me energy but though..

When I woke up again I saw it's evening. I checked my phone and saw my friends and seniors massages. I sighed and got freshen up. I massaged everyone saying, 'meet me in office after hour.'
I got ready and walked towards office as it's not that far. I grabbed two early dinners and drinks on my way. When I got there I saw everyone was there already.

"Hey Kong, where were you? We have.." Aim talked nonstop but then May put her hand on his mouth sensing my discomfort.
"Do you guys want early dinner?" I asked.
"No actually we all had late lunch today as we were waiting for you to show up." Wad said bitterly.
I nodded and gestured Luke to take our dinner and keep it aside. I saw everyone was studying for exams.

"So?" Tew asked.
"Yeah, I wanted to talk with you all on something important.." I said. Now I have everyone's attention.
"So I want you guys to do exactly what I tell you until exam ends. By end of exams I'll definitely tell you everything. Okay?" I asked but no one said anything. Then Wad said, "we might wanna hear what you want u to do before agreeing..." I nodded, I can understand..

"So I want you guys to not come here also not to work on project or talk anything about that also I want you guys to only concentrate on studies until exam ends.
And one more thing, I want you all to make sure that P'Arthit didn't notice my absence as I might not able to join you all many time.." when I finished I saw everyone was in thought.
P'Bright said, "We can manage first thing but about Arthit I am not going to take responsibility.." P'Tutah smaked him and said, "Then why do you even friends with him?"
