Chapter 39

Kongpob's POV

"Quite teasing him and talk clearly Priya. Don't irritate him.." Mr. Rojnapat said and I heard Mrs. Rojnapat chuckling.
"Okay okay. So Arthit you wanted us to treat you as a tough guy right so prove us that you are tough guy by supporting our plan.." Mrs. Rojnapat said. Very clever move..

"What do mean Ma?" Phi asked.
"Well what I say is what I mean. You have to prove us that you are strong. You are acting like this when Kongpob said he is going for dinner with his family and you say you are strong?" Mrs. Rojnapat said with challenging stare.
"Being strong has nothing to do with my reaction.." P'Arthit said stubbornly.
"It has everything with you and your reactions for him.." she said firmly.

Now it's getting interesting.. why is she so firm? This is not what we agreed upon..
"You, inform your family that you'll come for dinner. Now.." Mrs. Rojnapat said to me. I nodded and obeyed. She then turned to Mr. Rojnapat and said,
"Devid bring that album and documents. These children wants to take part right, let them atleast know whole game.."

After few minutes we saw Mr. Rojnapat carrying album with different files. He placed everything on table and settled beside his wife.
"Today we accept Kongpob as our son in law and trust him with our Oon. Hope this will go like you wanted.." Mr. Rojnapat say while looking towards photo in album. He then passes album to us.
"I should take a leave. " Luke said while trying to move.
"I don't think so.." Mr. Rojnapat replied. But he didn't said much further.

I and phi saw our grandparents together in many pictures, along with our parents and one more couple.
"Jack and Mint Sutthilak were siblings everyone jealous of. Their bond was inspiring for many.. They left their family when their parents wanted to handle then their family business. They wanted start something of their own and pure. They were the one who built this empire. Along with them was Rin Rojnapat, friend of Jack Sutthilak. Who stood and worked hard with them. They build this whole empire from scratch. They build it just like their relationship strong and unbreakable. But things changes, soon Jack Sutthilak got married to Pring thanapat. It was arranged marriage while Rin Rojnapat got married to Mint after several months. I loved to here their love story though..
Everything was almost okay. Rin and Mint had me while Jack and Pring had Rem and Karrikai. We all three grew together. Not that we were got along much but we were family." Mr. Rojnapat stooped and looked towards Mrs. Rojnapat.

"I on the other hand was orphan and met Devid in college. We fell in love at first sight. He took me to his parent's at our first month anniversary. Mae and Por was most welcoming.. I also met uncle Jack and aunt Pring that day. I always adored their bond. P'Rem was already married while Karrikai was studying in same year but in different country. When Karrikai came back he brought wife with him. He told us that it was for business as she was lone heir of company and lost her family to accident. No one understood logic behind but they didn't pry also.

That's when everything went down. After my marriage with Devid I clearly noticed how much everyone parted their ways. Few months after our marriage we got news that P'Rem died in accident with his wife leaving small Earth.
We couldn't think it as accident and found it was not. Someone from family was involved in it somehow. We tried to tell that to everyone but no one listened. We left that matter as we couldn't find more clues.

I got pregnant. I was so happy, everyone was. But it didn't lasted for much time. I got miscarriage. I was too much sad. But with love and care I moved on. We tried again for baby and again I got pregnant but it also didn't lasted. You know how many miscarriage I had in 3 years, 4.. Doctor told us if this time anything happens to baby, my life will be endangered along with it or I might not able to conceive again.." Sob escaped while Mrs. Rojnapat narrated. I got up and brought glass of water for her while I saw P'Arthit sat hugging his mother.
