"Gagi, dude ayos ka lang?!"
Gulat na gulat ata si Pam sa biglang pagsusuka ko. I'm at the bathroom sink throwing my guts out here at our office. Buti wala na si Ashro, kung naabutan niya it's either he'd crack the code immediately or he'd panic and bring me to a hospital. Mabilis pa namang mag-panic 'yon lalo na kapag ang usapan ay ang health ng isang tao. He gets worried easily when it comes to me too. Kahit kaunting ubo lang ay nag-aalala na 'yon.
Pilit akong tumango. "Ayos lang ako."
"Nasabi mo na ba 'to kay Ashro?" tanong naman niya.
Umiling ako. "He was tired from work last night, nakatulog kaagad kami."
Nakatulog kasi si Ashro kaagad kahapon kaya hindi ko na nasabi sa kaniya 'yung 'big news' ko. I was thinking of telling him tonight since may party rin naman sa bahay ng parents niya. Baka doon ko nalang iannounce para may thrill. Plus I think tita would love the idea of finally having a grandson or daughter, because even before she keeps begging Ashro to have an offspring na.
"Natatakot ka ba na sabihin sa kaniya?" Elai asked.
I nodded truthfully. "Sobra. Iniisip ko na paano kung hindi niya talaga 'to gusto?"
"Aba naman, dapat magustuhan niya, hindi naman puwedeng papakasalan ka lang!" Umirap pa siya.
"Nasabi mo na kay Stephen?" Iya asked.
Umiling ako. "Mamaya mag-kikita kami sa Nooks. Wait text ko rin siya."
Me:
Ano oras tayo sa nooks?
Agad naman siyang nag-reply.
Stephen:
G na ako ngayon, cancelled classes ko arat na.
Me:
okay see you.
"Mauna na ako," Paalam ko sa mga bulok kong tropa.
Iya nodded. "Cancelled classes niya?"
Napangisi ako. "Ay kabog updated ka pa rin?"
She rolled her eyes on me and then walked away raising her middle finger. Ako naman ay dumiretso na sa elevator para pumunta na sa cafe. I decided to text Ashro about my plans with Stephen today so he'd know.
