The Beach

The beach. The place where family, friends, and many that you don't know come to have fun, swim, and relax. I, for one, planned on taking the relaxation side. After everything that's been happening from artifacts, organization's, and tests from school, I really need a break like this.

"We're here, Haru~!" I had sat up from my beach chair and turned left to see Kiara waving at me and everyone else coming from the changing rooms.

"Heya. You all look great." Truthfully so, some wore a colored swimsuit that was designated with their hair color. Mio was wearing one that had an autumn-like design with a jacket that was unzipped and falling off her shoulders a bit. If she had been wearing one that was designed black... I think that would've been too much.

For me and her.

"Only look good, hm~? Are you sure~? And what's with that jacket? You're going to get a heatstroke in that." Kiara had gotten closer to more and took a pose that was to be considered sexy since she basically lifted her breasts with her right arm while the left on her hip as she bent forward a bit.

"...Yes, Kiara, you all look good." I had been staring at her eyes the entire time. Honestly.  Kiara seemed to be disappointed by my bunt response too.

"I can see that blush on your-bwah!" Before she could finish her sentence, her head flinched downwards after an umbrella hit her on the head.

"Stop trying to be perverted, Kiara-chan. You had your fun at the changing room..." Rushia, who had been behind her with said umbrella, stared blankly at the back of Kiara's head. I shook my head at Kiara's recent behavior and turned to Korone, Okayu, Mio, and Fubuki.

"The sea looks so beautiful! Okayu, let's go swimming!" Korone was practically jumping up and down from the excitement.

"Let me take a short nap first~." Okayu had been setting up her chair and umbrella while Korone was trying to get the cat girl out into the sea and not being lazy. Mio, meanwhile was giggling at Korone's funny attempts.

Speaking of which, could Okayu swim?

A small dog paddling and a cat trying to swim out in the sea...

That seems hilarious and adorable.

I had turned to Fubuki, who had been... staring at me for some reason and hadn't said a single word as of yet. Her hands were behind her back and she was looking as if she was expecting something from me from her shy to pouting expression.

This is not something Fubuki regularly does.

"Fubuki-chan, let's go get some drinks!" Before I had the chance to say anything, Mio had grabbed Fubuki's attention.

"A-Ah, s-sure!" Fubuki agreed as Mio turned to me with a smile and a wave, to which I waved back as they left. After seeing how weird she was acting, I had remembered to ask something to the little necromancer.

Turning back to Rushia, who had finished setting up her umbrella, I wanted to ask her something.

"Hey, Rushia, got a second?" After putting down her chair she turned to me.

"Hm? Something going wrong with your body now?" I waved my hand with a slight chuckle.

"No, no, I was going to ask if it was possible to separate Kuro and Fubuki into two separate people. You know, like doing the thing you did with me with those souls?" With her arms crossed, she opened her mouth.

"It's possible, but it's not an easy task. Kuro is like an alternate personality that's fabricated from Fubuki's emotions and magic. It was difficult to understand her at first, but when they switch back and forth, it became a little obvious as to what we going on." Fabricated from Fubuki's emotions and magic, huh? Well, it's not like what Calli had specualted at first and Rushia is a necromancer that, so I have to believe her word for it.
